Wine Compass offers tailored, private wine tours of the Mornington Peninsula. Our aim is to provide you with an affordable private option. We can cater to small and large groups.
We recently used Wine Compass for my sisters hens party, an extremely professional company who went above our expectations to make our day enjoyable. A tailored tour to suit the group was perfect. Nothing was too difficult and a great knowledgeable tour guide.

Imagine this. A whole kilometre of cosmopolitan boutique shopping, with more than 370 retail outlets to explore. The pavements are broad and tree-shaded, with inviting courtyards, verandahs and kerbside Seating for an espresso or glass of fine regional wine. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and there's not a highrise building in sight. And right at the end of the street is the sparkling sea
I know this is a busy time of year but trying to walk past all the dining areas on the footpath makes for a very trying time with young children in your group.
As long as you have plenty of time, the Main Street has everything that you will need.
Well worth a visit whether staying in or passing through Mornington.

Enroute returning from our full day tour in Mornington Peninsula to the CBD, our tour group stopover at Dromana for a short visit to the famous multi-coloured bathing boxes located along the Safety beach.
It was quite crowded when we arrived as it was Sunday afternoon with families crowding along the beach. It has a nice view seeing the sea, with soft and clean sand, cooling and crystal clear seawater, as we strolled for a while before moving up to the colourful bathing boxes for photographing.
The bathing boxes were interesting, of many colours and each is unique in its own setting.
There are also washrooms and cafes nearby and so one can enjoy a coffee break nearby after engaging in the sea activities.

The Enchanted Adventure Garden is an award-winning attraction, just one hour from Melbourne at Arthurs Seat. Featuring three hedge mazes, 5 giant tube slides, 20 themed Gardens, an outdoor sculpture park and an indoor 3D maze, this impressive adventure park has something for everyone. Right from the moment you enter, you will be transported into a world of enchantment and fun on a grand scale. The stunning Gardens feature excellent examples of relief topiary and contemporary garden design. The Enchanted Adventure Garden is also the home of Australia's famous Tube Slide Rides with their giant twisting slopes, adventurers sit on inflatable tubes and slide down the slope like an artificial ski run. For a thrilling tree top adventure you should also try Tree Surfing. It involves over 50 aerial obstacles and offers 2 hours of climbing, balancing and zip-lines through the trees. This is a safe and exhilarating activity for all ages. Pre-book online to avoid disappointment.
We were hosting some Korean students and decided to visit here. It is an expensive experience if you are just doing the maze, would love a family ticket to make it a little more reasonable.
The Gardens are beautiful and the mazes are fun. The tubing is fun for all ages. It is our second time here but probably won’t be back in the next few years due to the cost.

The beach is quite long and wide with fairly coarse yellow sand not seen much around the bay and it is protected from the cold southerlies by a point that juts out to the south. There is there are good restaurants across the road in Mt Martha Village and further South (East Restaurant) and there is also the Balcombe Creek Wetlands and picnic area. This beach also has a large number of very colorful beach boxes.

I've been lucky enough to fish for many different species in locations like Bermagui and Venuatu, BUT, if you want a buzz, get on Reel Time and go snapper fishing in Port Phillip Bay in November.
A group of mate had this big day planned, all day out on the bay, keeping hydrated, what more could you ask for.
Well, the MORE , is catching more snapper in an hour than I have ever seen in my life.
It was bloody amazing.
Big snapper and plenty of them.
Boxed out and with flatty's coming on the bight, there was really no need to spend any more time out on the water.
MIssion accomplished.

This is essentially a board walk from Mt Martha Beach to the Briars which is over Nepean Highway and is great on a windy day or any day as you walk along the Balcombe Creek estuary through the tee tree. At the Mount Martha end there are toilet and BBQ facilities and at the Briar's similar facilities and great walks as well. At the Mt Martha Village turn off go past the car park, turn left and travel down a dirt track towards the creek where there is a small car park. Walk from there.
