Worth pushing out the boat for this set lunch, because the food is both creative and tasty. But at $70 some might find it a bit high for 3 courses, especially as the mains are more entree size. Service is variable with one staff manning the front of house operations. Very pleasant though given the ambience of the buildings and Gardens. Good wine selection from their own vineyards and suppliers dotted around Victoria.

Food here has been adjusted for Aussie tastes so no surprise it is popular both for dining or takeaway. Weekends you probably should book. Dishes are catering to the "one dish for one person" style of dining rather than true Chinese sharing of dishes. This means the veg accompaniments are virtually the same for any meat or fish dish. One of the best in the Wyndham area, but not very Cantonese, if you are looking for authenticity. .

We popped in to Salsa as we passed through Werribee. First to arrive on a Tuesday night we admitted to not having a booking and copped a stern look.
We soon found out why.
Salsa Mexican is delicious. The wait staff are lovely. The prices are great value.
In the 90 minutes we were there the place filled up and lots of people were turned away. Definitely check it out - just make sure you book ahead!

Very high quality and freshest of ingredients. Cooking is in a modern style with lightness of touch and sensitive use of vegetables and meats. Very good service. Wine staff surprisingly knowledgeable given they really only serve wines from their own vineyard. The pizzas are wood fired and creative. Nothing overloaded or heavy here. Great coffee and desserts as well. All in all a very modern and stylish dining option in the west.

Great breakfast or lunch alternative to eating at the Mansion Hotel and Spa at Werribee Park
This is a lovely oasis in an area not noted for value food options at a high quality. The restaurant is tucked away after the Werribee mansion/State Rose Garden precinct so easily missed. Food is high quality, some unusual options like home made pies and Turkish dishes. Food serves are huge so think of sharing. Fresh ingredients are a given. Its being discovered so I suggest you book. Staff are great. Good management here. Oh and a nice deli is connected to the restaurant suggesting an Italian link. It's my local, so I have tested it many times.

The Park Hotel is an eatery & beer hall. Our artisan menu is freshly prepared daily and changes seasonally. We have over 400 craft beers from local Australian Breweries as well as some international. The Park Hotel is the perfect location for your next function , get together or just some where to catch up with friends to dine and enjoy.
This is a pub where you can dine & wine. The food though a bit Mexican but it would do.
They may not have the cocktails that i was looking for but nothing beats Don Julio Tequila!
The ambiance is so good with good music & fantastic night goers who love to dance.
The location is near the train station which is convenient to commuters alike.

We were going to go to another restaurant but changed our minds due to current reviews. Well it didn’t disappoint. Entree of salt and pepper calamari with salad and sauce was exceptional. Had similar at ‘waterfront’ restaurant but this beat it hands down. Mains consisted of entree sized Smoked Salmon & Avocado Stack
Salmon, Avocado, Tomato, Pesto, Garlic with Layers of Thin Crispy Pastry, Veal Saltimbocca
Pan Fried Veal with Onion, Tomato, Sage & Pancetta in a White Wine Butter Sauce with Oven Roasted Potatoes & Vegetables or Chips & Salad, Veal Scaloppini,
Pan Fried Veal with Onion, Mushroom & Garlic in a Cream Sauce Served with Oven Roasted Potatoes & Vegetables or Chips & Salad. Tender melt in your mouth, vegetables fresh sweet and all presented to please the diner. We’ll be back.

Held a small family birthday at this smallish but delightful venue. Very busy as is always the case. Seven main dishes selected to share from the a la carte menu and every one was quite distinct in flavours, full of lovely fresh ingredients and cooked beautifully. Only slight let down were the fried components in the entrees. Top of some fried items (mussels and curry puffs) were lightly and crisply battered but bottoms were soft and soggy.

Driving down Watson Street we decided to eat where we parked.
We parked outside Curry Guru and we pleasantly surprised with the restaurant, the service and the food.
We ate chicken and vegetable curries with cheese naan, saffron rice and mango and strawberry lassi.
Our experience suggested a return would be well received.
