Land of Mermaids. Land of Orange and Lemon Groves. Land of Colors. This small city in Campania has earned a plethora of alluring names. Famed for its sea cliffs, the town's steep slopes look out over azure waters to Ischia, Capri and the Bay of Naples. The birthplace of Limoncello liqueur offers some good diving, great sea fishing, boat cruises and appetizing restaurants. Excellent hiking trails cross the peninsula. Rent a car or take a taxi if the steep streets look too intimidating.

We're open from 1st April to 31st October. We accept only reservation by phone, thank you!
Nice dining option in a large marina restaurant with seafood fish and pastas. We had the prosciutto starter with mozzarella, the sea urchin pasta, shrimp marinara pasta, tuna pasta and Vesuvio vegetable pasta - all were good, no complaints, while they weren’t life changing experiences, nevertheless! With coffees it came out to about 35€ per person. On the expensive side for pasta, but it is Sorrento and a seafood spot. Good and cordial service, nice marina views.

KEBAB Ciampa the different kebab since 2001...Our pita bread , meat, and sauces are all homemade and prepared fresh daily..... the meat is not halal
Superb kebab plate in pleasant little cafe off side street. Food excellent and good prices. Chilli sauce very good. Good alternative if you have had too much Italian type food. Got busy when we were there in the evening. Can highly recommend

We went here for dinner and chose the 5 course menu at 100 Euro p.p. Everything was absolutely superb. Service by the waiters excellent. Recommendations of wines by the sommelier fantastic. Quality and quantity excellent. Presentation of dishes wonderful. We were glad to have found this place since nobody in Sorrento mentioned it. Even TripAdvisor was useless. We went to various restaurants that were mentioned but were mostly frustrated. Sorrento seems to cater for the average tourist who looks for cheap meals above all. It is hard to find good Italian restaurants in this mass of low-market places where not only the food left us dissatisfied, but where the service was unfriendly too. Prices went up, service went down.

Ate here twice whilst staying in the hotel, well worth the extra money
The views are about the best in Sorrento, the setting very romantic and the food and service are first class, booking is a must as there are only a few tables and the Terrace restaurant is very popular with both guests and people who make the journey from ther Sorrento hotels, go on great yourself you won't go d a better setting or food in Sorrento

if you are tired with italian food like pizza and pasta, this place will give you a break by serving burgers and hotdog. however, don't expect burgers with american taste. i think they have adjusted their recipes to suit the italian taste. price is affordable.

Excellent food, great service, very reasonable prices, what's not to like. At lunch, the owner gave us complementary olives, warm bread and excellent bruchetta. The eggplant, lasagna and house special (mushroom raviolli) were all excellent. When we tried to pay with a card, the owner said cash only, but "don't worry", come back and pay tomorrow. We ended up eating every meal lunch and dinner there. The last night, the owner sent us away with a complementary bottle of the house wine. There is no cover or service charge, so make sure to tip.

No booking table. Only fresh fish.
Imagine. An old fisherman's store built into the sea walls in the harbour and now converted to a kitchen. Then Dad and sons take their own boat out for a day fishing in Naples Bay. Grandad helps to land the catch and Mum, Daughters, Aunties and a Cousin all prepare what was caught and write out a menu for the evening. Then the plastic tables and chairs are brought out of the store and set out on the quayside, ready for we hungry tourists to enjoy. No table booking, no credit cards and no website. Just turn up, wait your turn, eat glorious fresh fish cooked to perfection, drink local wine or beer, pay in cash and leave knowing you'll probably never have another meal like it.
If that's what you like then this is the place. We went out of season and whilst every other restaurant in Marina Grande was almost empty, this one had every table filled all night, with folk waiting. A real gem and a wonderful experience. Love this place.

On our last night of our stay in Sorrento we went for a burger and chips. A welcome break from all things Italian. Easy to order system. Burgers are cooked to order. Toppings are additional. Overall experience was great. Becareful not to double up on everything as portions are bug and we were well and truly stuffed... had to go for a long walk after ...

Fuoro51 is a wine bar where you can buy , taste and accompany the wine chosen with cold items like cutting boards , bruschetta prepared with the highest quality products .
We went there attracted by the good reviews on TripAdvisor and I confirm that our experience was great. We must have spent just over an hour there and we’ve tried great local wines and nibbles. The staff was happy to assist us with suggestions and recommendations of places to eat and wines to try.
