The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

A great experience if you are a fan of sashimi/ sushi (including cuttlefish sperm & monk fish liver!). Undeniably fabulous sashimi and sushi; also undeniably expensive. We went on a Monday evening when there were not many diners and the sushi bar was lacking in atmosphere.

Wow. I had the most amazing dinner here over the weekend. The menu was inventive and I truly enjoyed each course on the degustation. The wine pairings were also extremely complimentary to the courses. The restaurant is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. The service - incredible. The staff are charming and knowledgeable about the menu and history of the chef and restaurant. Met Andre on the way out - wished him well with his new endeavours - this venue will be missed!

Had an amazing 7 course dinner for s$150. Very impressive contemporary food with a slight local twist. Each dish was exquisite. Tasted fantastic and looked amazing. The composition of the dishes and the thought process behind them were all carefully explained. Excellent service from the staff and chef Matthew who came to greet us. Shout out to Donna as well who delivered some of the best service I've ever had in Singapore. Restaurant was also very accommodating in adjusting the menu for our dietary preference (no meat for one diner). Overall was an amazing experience. Perfect for a lovely celebration without busting the budget. Would come again in a heartbeat.

While we were in Singapore we ate in the MTR restaurant as my friend said that she liked Indian food. This restaurant was very highly rated in TripAdvisor. It is very popular. You order your food at the cashier and they then bring it to your table. The restaurant is clean and bright.
We ordered a couple of dishes. I was not used to Indian food or vegetarian so I didn't really enjoy it and my friend found her dish too hot. So my recommendation is to go here only if you enjoy vegetarian Indian food.

A small fine French restaurant set up by Paul Longworth, Jerome Desfonds & Au Petit Salut. Contempory approach to French cuisine with very personalised service. A well worked out and affordable wine list to completment the dining experience.
I have dined at Rhubarb the last 3 times I have been in Singapore and each time find more to recommend this wonderful, intimate and friendly place where Paul Longworth and team turn out creative, beautiful and extraordinarily tasty cuisine, and Jerome DesFonds runs an efficient and welcoming front of the house, presenting interesting wines to accompany Chef Longworth's delightful cooking. I've written other reviews of Rhubarb which I invite readers to read, so I won't wax as eloquent as Rhubarb really deserves here other than to say this is a "must visit" restaurant in Singapore!

As a pre Valentine treat, we visited Alma for a sumptuous 8 course dinner. Particularly great were the veggie sorbets that accompanied several of the starters and the melting Kobe beef, which while a bit small was simply perfect. Service was very attentive and not stuck up. The wine pairing was a great match, even though five glasses were a bit too much to handle.
In any case a great 3 hours spent with the right companion.

Located on level three of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, the name Colony alludes to the seafarious voyage that the British took to travel to the East Indies for trade and commerce in the late eighteenth century. Vintage maps and postcards which adorn the walls and decorative ornate leafing evoke the nostalgia of a bygone era, while eight different open concept kitchens, coupled with 'live' culinary showmanship, will bring diners on a multi-sensory journey through Singapore's heritage cuisines including Malaysian, Indonesian, Indian, Chinese and Western, with dishes that reflect the flavours of the nation's rich colonial past. Colony can seat a maximum of 260 persons and boasts a dynamic space that can be configured to accommodate groups of various sizes. The restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner daily, and vintage Champagne brunch on Sundays.
We were there for dinner on last Tues to celebrate my boy's birthday celebration. Though is a weekday night but restaurant seems pack still. Food was fresh and good. Love the juice bar and plenty of fruits selection too. Service was impeccable! Beside a small birthday cake for my boy, they even presented him with a small gift. You can imagined the grin on my boy's face. This is not our first visit and it certainly won't be the last!

We had a very nice 6-course dinner and the quality of the ingredients, the service and the dishes presentation was excellent.
Although not cheap, the value for money is clearly good, especially the wines which are in various pleasant price ranges (which is usually not the case in Singapore).
