We were tired and hungry after day out to Montague Island we missed lunch so we were ready for a hearty meal . Staff were very obliging and helpful good service.
I had crumbed cutlets done in fresh rosemary crust yummo cooked to perfection. Pricey $32 but good
My partner had roast beef baked dinner not bad $16, he did enjoy sticky date pudding and took homemade rocky road.
Yummo loved how they made fresh Anzac cookies for free with coffee. friendly patrons thumbs up

After a big day of driving and shopping came back to Bermagui looking for dinner. Bermagui Pizza and Takeaway hit the spot. The takeaway and pizza menu has something for everyone. The pizza dough was crisp and light, the toppings were generous and the prices were what you would expect for a non-franchise 'more traditional' pizza shop. The apple, coconut and cream pizza dessert on a pizza base was to die for - yum! No EFTPOS - this is a cash only business.

Blue Wave Seafood is essentially a fish and chips establishment, but its seafood offerings are far more extensive. It is by no means an upmarket restaurant, but it isn't only a fish and chips shop. It is located on Bermagui's harbour where fishing trawlers tie up, so its seafood is very fresh. The views from its outdoor Seating are lovely. You wait in turn at the counter where your order is taken and then you are given a number. When your food is ready, your number is called and away you go. Blue Wave is VERY popular and you may have to wait awhile for a table, but you can always take your food to a nearby park bench and enjoy the view.

The restaurant has recently been taken over by the Country Club itself.
"Returned to the Members" one might say!
This has seen a total revamp of not only the Restaurant but the Menu as well, which has led to hugely decreased prices, great value meals and fresh produce!!
The new decor is worth the visit with many prints of Bermaguis past hanging on the freshly painted walls.
No more dark dingy dirty interior...its now light filled and inviting...with a story to tell.
(Members are assured that there are even more plans for further renovation over time which is really exciting stuff!!)
The menu is quite basic.
Understandably so.
The Club has hired two new Chefs, both with extensive experience in the industry.
The first goal was to supply a small basic variety to allow the Chefs time researching the wants and needs of the community.
This they have achieved.
Whats great about it is they have sourced, visited and spoken with local suppliers!!
About time I say!! (Three cheers!!).
This now means the Menu can now change seasonally.
Our table of three ate beautiful steaks, entrees, breads and pastas for far less cost than before...so Members can now get incredible value for money!
Having said that the "regular prices" are STILL less than what was previously being charged and the quality is excellent.
Things can only go up from here.. well done!

Recommended by a local friend who I took to dinner, il Passaggio didn’t disappoint. The water view is delightful. The service is friendly and warm. The menu is limited but interesting. The food is fresh and good quality.
We shared the local organic oysters and a fabulous squid entree. The later was deliciously crunch on the outside and tender in the inside. The lasagne special with slow cooked beef ragu was delicious, rich and very filling. The cabbage salad is large and delicious, consisting of shredded red and white cabbage, finely grated Parmesan and quality vinegar soaked currants.
Wines by the glass were good quality.
I’d return happily.

Fabulous setting, on an elevated point overlooking the vineyards, just off the Tathra to Bermagui Road. Main building comes with impressive vaulted ceiling and a wide outdoor Terrace with sweeping views over the vines and undulating forested hills beyond.
Unfortunately the cellar door was closed—we’d wanted to try the Savagnin (which we know as a thick, nutty local Jura wine, as opposed to the light, citrusy Spanish grape mentioned on the website)—and they’d run out of wines to purchase but we tried a very pleasant Tempranillo and chambourcin blend and couldn’t resist ordering a local Eden mussels to share despite just having had breakfast.
Service was speedy and impeccable, the views from the Terrace superb, the mussels were succulent and fresh, the accompanying cream and white wine sauce packed a satisfying garlic punch, though it was a tad thick and I would have preferred the more traditional garlic broth.
We were slightly taken aback by the bill which came to A$50, for two glasses of wine and the one starter, but you pay for such views and service.
Not surprisingly, this is a popular wedding venue, so it’s best to phone up to see if they are open before you go. And if you overindulge in the wine, you can always spend the night in one of the vineyard’s cottages.

Had lunch here with a group. Staff were very good, especially the older ones. But the food was disappointing. I and others had the locally caught flathead - the flathead was two small pieces with a very disappointing salad but quite good fries. The aioli was good but I suspect came from a jar. The brownie was dry & nut free - who has a brownie without some sort of nut? And the price of $29 for the flathead was a Sydney price for a very simple meal.

We ate dinner here on our weekend getaway. The food was absolutely delicious & the portions were so large that we even had left overs to bring back to our accommodation. It’s right on Fisherman’s Wharf, so the view is just gorgeous.

We arrived in Bermagui about 3pm Friday. The last time I visited the area I got a bush tick so I headed for the pharmacy so as to be prepared. After collecting the required cream I asked where one would get a good feed of fish and chips at that time of day and was told to head for the Fisherman's Wharf 73-79 Lamont St. Bermagui.
On the ground floor I located the Bluewave fish and chips shop. I ordered a dozen Wapengo oysters, half a dozen sea scollops and 4 crumbed prawn cutlets with chips.
They were excellent and we were back for breakfast the next day for more of the prawns, scollops and chips. For Sunday lunch I had the idea of more of the same but the fish and chips section had a long line of hungry people who had beaten us to the punch so we settled for oysters. The locals obviously know this shop very well.
We got our revenge, we were back on Monday morning for breakfast. The Bluewave serves the freshest seafood I've encounter in New South Wales and I say that as some one who haunts the Sydney Fish Market. I availed myself of the spotless toilet before heading back to Sydney.
