After a long day cycling from Liverpool to Leeds along the canal, we checked into a local B&B. Then went in search of food, we were directed by customers of a nearby pub to the Crown. They had just finished serving however they accommodated 5 hungry cyclists, my wife and I both had steaks which were excellent.
A big thanks to the landlord for looking after us it is very much appreciated, all the staff, locals and quiz master were very friendly. Thanks for being so welcoming..

Complementary Therapies for health and well-being.
Now you might not think Accrington market to be the place of choice for a relaxing massage - however a massage with Janine at Buddu Chill could be given outside in a thunderstorm and I would still choose it! The room is cosy and smells...MoreIt is true people have commented about being hesitant because of the Market. But what a wonderful place it is and your review highlights that you can have a place of tranquility within a busy market. Thank you.

I was in here on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. On Christmas Eve they were playing great music from the 70s and 80s and there was a good mix of ages in there. On New Years Eve there was a live band. Both nights the atmosphere was good and people were enjoying themselves and having a good time. Good beers and friendly staff.

Angela-Kay's salon in Accrington is the perfect place for a pamper. The salon offers everything from a simple eyebrow shape to a full pamper day. Always trying to ensure the team offer the best and most up-to-date treatments Angela is often updating what treatments are available. The team are fully trained and always pleasant and helpful. I have had the pleasure of having all my beauty treats done by the team at Angela-Kays and consider them friends as well now. There is often promotional offers and new treatments to try. You can even have an occasional glass of wine whilst having your treatments from time to time. Love the girls and couldn't recommend enough.

A family run business established in 1948 and still in the same ownership. One of the last few remaining traditional leather and gift shops in the country.
A real independent shop, been there for years and has an amazing selection of goods. Never leave without buying something. Everything is top quality.

Accrington indoor market is busy enough and has stalls and shops of interest where you can get things not readily available elsewhere. The outdoor market, however, is dying and is now filled with empty stalls most days as traders withdraw.
Still an interesting place for a wander but no longer the commercial centre that it once was

A lovely tearoom and Arts and Crafts centre offering lots of workshops from crochet to watercolour. We look forward to your visit :) We are also the local stockist for the fabulous Frenchic chalk paints, waxes and brushes and we hold furniture painting classes. We are open Tues, Wed, Fri and Saturday and specialise in pre-booked afternoon teas.
Small but lovely menu. Very friendly staff and fab home made cakes. Try the Zucchini and Lime cake (yum). Hard to find nice cafes in central Accrington so this is a hidden gem. Crafty types will like it and ladies on their own will feel comfortable here. Very close to new bus station and Tesco.
