Liverpool's fortunes have historically been tied to shipping. But imports and exports like sugar, spice and tobacco pale in comparison with Liverpool's most famous export of all—the Beatles. Relive the hysteria at the Beatles Story Experience, and check out Paul's childhood home, but also leave time for exploring Liverpool Cathedral and the Walker Art Gallery.

Also traditional Nepalese food
We highly recommend this restaurant because of the whole experience. The welcome was warm, I would bring my family to this restaurant, the emphasis is on good food beautifully presented with out fuss regarding descriptions of menu selection.
Vegetarians are easily catered for from the varied menu. All the food is freshly cooked and attention to detail is shown in the presentation.
Saffron is near the P&O port, making it a good estination whilst waiting for a sailing.
We loved it!

Open Sundays From 13.00 To 17.00
We've been to Paul's Place half a dozen times over the last year, and never been disappointed. The food is superbly cooked and the prices are reasonable. Our daughter is vegan, and they looked after her wonderfully well, especially considering how small the place is. Highly recommended.

Visited with another couple for dinner. The food here is awesome. We had a good selection of dishes and everything was delicious.
I can recommend the pigs cheeks, Gambas, albondigas, pork ribs and croquettes. The cava sangria was also lovely to drink. Possibly one of the best tapas restaurants I’ve ever visited.

Restaurant closed 4th to 21st April.
Hi gang
Ruby here again. I had a fab night out with the Volley (pub East Street Waterloo L22) witches on Friday at Da Gurkha. One of the longest members of the coven couldn't make it and was missed but we still had a great time. On my nod one of the girls had the chickpea starter and loved it and several had the Mo Mo starter. I for the first time had Da Gurkha kebab & it was lovely and there was lots of meat. There was 10of us and everybody loved the location, the service, the food and the wine. For a slightly belated 50th birthday celebration with good friends I couldn't have asked for a better night.
Thanks Netra and staff.
xxx Ruby

The Art School Restaurant is completely unique. Housed in the old sculpture room of the John Moores University Fine Arts faculty, the project has been a labour of love from start to finish. We have tried to embrace the features of the original building and have blended in modern facilities. With warm lighting, a viewing window through to the kitchen, a relaxing bar and a fabulous dining area, the restaurant is designed for up to 50 covers. Situated across the street from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and a short distance from both of Liverpool's cathedrals, the restaurant is the first of its kind in Liverpool City Centre. Our Mission is to deliver the highest possible dining standards in our ever expanding, evermore discerning City of Liverpool. To do this we will offer innovative, seasonal menus developed from the finest local produce our region has to offer, including an exclusive range of organic spirits, superb 200 bin wine list and a world class Champagne selection. Delivered by an international team of experienced chefs, waiters and sommeliers, the restaurant has a focus on mentoring young, local talent and apprentices by working with the Mayoral Youth Contract. Starting from £23.50 For 2 courses, our menus are aspirational, modern and contemporary. We aim to be affordable and inviting for all to enjoy.
We ‘dine out’ a lot in Cheshire but came to Liverpool to go to the theatre. But firstly we
read trip advisor. We were certainly not disappointed with our choice. The service was
very good, professional and friendly. The lunch was so interesting, appetising and
delicious. We started with a surprise “Bonne bouche”. It was followed by a lovely starter of a warm salad with small slices of lamb fillet and black pudding. Then we
enjoyed our main course of Guinea fowl and a selection of beautifully cooked vegetables. All was first class. We left feeling very contented - we even had our
coats warmed in front of a log fire in the entrance hall. ( It was a horrible snowy cold
Saturday.). I do hope that we can return soon.

Went here for breakfast (when I was exceptionally hungover) and couldn't decide why I wanted in my hangover haze, so ordered both the veggie breakfast and cream cheese and bacon bagel! Both were absolutely incredible, and my friend had a tuna melt that was somehow...MoreHaha thanks Phillipa! We hope you left feeling better than when you came in! Thank you for such a kind review. My favourite restaurant, Staff lovely, helpful with the menu. Went for some of the unusual choices on the menu this time. Beetroot risoto was amazing. The soundtrack - superb, DJ Neil Craven with an eclectic mix of tunes. Stayed on after for a few beers.
