Famed for its soccer team and music scene, which has produced the likes of the Smiths and Oasis, this center for sports and the arts is a down-to-earth and friendly city. The so-called Capital of the North has overcome industrial decline, bombing (in WWII and by the IRA) to become a confident and cosmopolitan city of well over two million. It is well served by a bus and light rail network. Top attractions include the Lowry art complex, arcade Affleck's Palace and Canal Street gay village.

Dougy's Caribbean takeaway, a family business established in 1991 inspired by our mothers home style cooking and not fast food. A rare blend of Jamaican and English ingredients creating complimentary Jamaican and English meals with an extended menu to meet our ever growing diverse customer base. As well as our takeaway service, we provide outside catering for parties and functions, have extended the business to producing and distributing Jamaican patties throughout the North West and are contemplating a local Delivery service. In order to further improve our service we welcome any customer feedback. On behalf of the Douglas family and staff team, we Thank You for your continued support
Patties and curried goat to die for. Great friendly service and reasonable price. I travel 15 miles just for a takeaway.

Great like spot. Friendly. Buzzing. The food is just amazing. The beef cheeks are one one the finest things I have ever tasted. We shall return.

A myriad of things that went wrong but mainly it was down to a lack of customer service. The customer service was dreadful and we were not treated equitably. The manager took our order and stated he would look after our table and then did a dissappearing act David Blaine would be proud of not to be seen again. We were given no condiments yet all other tables had them, we were also given 5 plates and 7 glasses yet there were 8 of us so the attention to detail was non existent. I had to ask for mayonnaise 3 times and eventually got it after the 4th attmept asking for it. We also asked for BBQ sauce numerous times and never received it. The trend of asking numerous times to get something continued as we had to ask for the bill 4 times and were made to wait 25 minutes for such a simple request before it was finally done. It is very disheartening and beggars belief that such an estabalished dinery can treat their customers with such disregard.

Set in the heart of Manchester city centre, you will find our relaxed, intimate sushi bar offering an unparalleled dining experience through fresh, inspired creations. At the very core of our service offering is freshness and quality – in our ideas and our produce. Our skilled chefs are always striving to push the boundaries of the menu in innovative ways, to excite the palate of our customers and bring you Japanese dining at its very best. You can discover tempting hot dishes such as Taiwanese pork rice, Japanese Wagyu beef, daily special fish board. And choose from a plethora of sumptuous sides... While on the drinks menu, an impressive selection of beverages includes Japanese Koshu wines – probably their debut appearance in Manchester! We are happy to recommend, so please ask! Reservations highly recommended.
Anyone who wants to sample Japanese food needs to eat here. The menu is amazing. The place is spotlessly clean. The staff are very knowledgeable. The dishes are so well presented. The fish is fresh and so delicious. I cannot wait to go back here.

A little Gem of a place! A traditional English cafe with a speciality for home-cooked food. Linda's Pantry has been serving hot and cold food to eat in or take away for over 24 years in the last remaining Coaching House in Manchester City Centre, situated on the corner of Ducie Street, the opposite end to Piccadilly Railway Station on the canal side. Food is served from weekdays Mon-Fri 7.00am-4pm and Saturdays 8.00am-1.30pm. Whether you are looking to start the day with a full English breakfast or a couple rounds of toast and a mug of tea or coffee, or you are looking to have a hot cooked meal for lunch or just a Sandwich you will have plenty of choice as well as plenty of taste to satisfy the hungriest of customers!
We ate with the local builders after deciding to go for a cheap full English. Was great food in an interesting old building. About to be demolished though in the next few weeks, so get there quickly! And leave your coat on, there's no heating!

Veeno is an Italian Wine Café based in the UK serving our family produced Sicilian wines & authentic Italian spuntini. All of our wines come from our award-winning family vineyard in Sicily where 3 generations of our family have produced wine. This allows us to ensure the highest quality from the grape to the glass. We source all our cold meat cuts, breads and cheeses from Italy too.

Our beautiful restaurant shines a new light on authentic Indian cuisine bringing an exciting combination of amazing flavours and colourful presentation to satisfy every taste.
Absolutely brilliant. Went due to a Group On voucher offer. Had the set Asian afternoon tea. The waitress was great. Very helpful. The food was marvellous and the venue was clean. I checked out the food the other diners were having off the a la carte menu and it also looked good. I will definitely go again.
