A fantastic restaurant. We attended for my husbands birthday on a wednesday evening. The place was quite busy for mid week. We had drinks in the bar and had our order taken, we were soon shown through to the dining room and received complimentary home made bread with olive oil. Soon after the starters arrived. I had the chicken livers. They were absolutely incredible. The main courses were equally as delicious. All in all a fantastic evening with excellent food and extremely good service. 5 stars !! We will be back

Chic, cosmopolitan dining, in the heart of the Ribble Valley.
We booked Angels for Valentines Evening as we have eaten there before and the food has always been excellent. The Valentines meal was ok itself but the whole night was bizarre with them serving every couple at the same time which gave it more of a function feeling rather than couples sharing a romantic meal. Everyone finished between 9.30/10 and then had to queue to pay at the desk. A Very disappointed evening. The food was good quality function food bearing in mind they had to cook everyone's meal at the same time but no romantic feeling at all in the whole restaurant. Other diners we spoke to agreed with the function feeling of the night and their disappointment on the lack of a personal romantic experience.

This is such a good place to come for lunch or tea. We came for toasties and tea and as per usual they were excellent. But it's the atmosphere that makes this place so special. Absolutely lovely, lovely staff.

Countless visits to our favourite eatery never let's us down and this was no exception. Always a great welcome, the log fire, homely atmosphere and another superb meal. My specially made dopiaza veggie mushroom curry was the best I've ever had anywhere. Everyone else enjoying their meals, the fish delivered with chips filled the entire plate.
Many thanks for the great service.

as a stop over we decided to go for Chinese rather then Indian our usual choice . we visited this on the view of a staff member at our hotel . jumped in a taxi and arrived. the place reminds me more of a house on the outside . but neat and clean on been seated .
i must admit , i was thrown by the choice of two menus , one English meals , the usual affray of typical English choices of what most think of as Chinese .and then their choice of authentic Chinese.
looking down it ,notice huge array of food choices , i mean duck tongues , intestines etc .not today i thought .but some day i think i should give these foods a try .so our order
deep fried squid with sweet and sour dip .not tough very nice .grilled meat dumplings again nice enough .
fillets of lobstertail in ginger spring onion , left my pallet jumping for joy .also the other choice deep fried lamb cumin plus spices .given a second big thumbs up .
the only let down we do not live in Preston to come again .

Tottos is a lovely restaurant, very friendly staff and the food was very good.
The reason I mark it down is because no where on the menu, website, trip advisor does it state that the food is halal. I discovered this after over hearing the gentleman telling another table that it was halal then when at the bar downstairs it has a small symbol on the take away menu. I am not one for eating halal and left feeling quite annoyed that it is not advertised as halal. I will sadly not be returning which is such a shame as it is a great little restaurant.

Consistently the best food in Preston... sort of a street-food kind of place with a good atmosphere. I love the vietnamese chicken burger and their chips are lethal... so so good, can never resist a portion especially with their special sauce. My wife loves the salads which are vibrant and tasty. Jerk chicken...burritos...koftas...quesadillas, they have it all. Loads to choose from and all amazing.
TWO minor grumbles, though:
1) I just wish they took card payments, no excuse in this day and age.
2) I wish they delivered!

Last time I ate here it was terrible but things have changed for the better I'm pleased to say. My friend and I had breakfast here today; she had a veggie breakfast and I had the medium one (they even do one with sirloin steak!) both were good and very enjoyable. Watched other food coming out of the kitchen and all looked very impressive. Will certainly go back and try something else. Coffee was very good too but the only thing which stopped it getting a five star from me was the selection of uninspiring cakes which looked very tired and uninviting. access and parking good.
