Canyoning (Canyoneering) in the heart of Bavaria, the Allgau. The "Canyonauten" are professional canyon guides that will take you out there and show you their passion: travelling downstream creeks and rivers by jumping, sliding, swimming, climbing and abseiling.
Was an awsome afternoon and we'll worth it. The instructors were great and spoke English well, they also knew there stuff and aimed it at the level you are happy at doing. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a fun and exhilarating day out.

Since 1975 the 18-hole golf course Sonnenalp (6,133 meters, par 72) has been an inspiration to the guests of the eponymous five-star resort as well as to further excited golf players. The demanding design of the championship course connects exciting golf to the romantic nature in an ideal manner.
Beautiful course where you het easily distracted by the surrounding Mountains. Not easy to play, very hilly (advise: take a buggy or at least an electric trolley), fast greens. I enjoyed it a lot and as guest from the Sonnenalp resort you get discount on the greenfee. Also the changing rooms with showers are clean and spacious. I already look forward to my next round!

We arrived in Bad Hindelang in glorious weather and headed straight to the gondola station. We ascended to the Hornbahn station and enjoyed the wonderful views over the valley and surrounding area. The scenery is spectacular from here.We started a downhill hike which took us to a great eating place The Horn which had great traditional food halfway down to the valley floor.

We stayed 3 nights at Gasthaus Hornblick in Kierwang, and got a card that allowed free use of the Hoerner Bahn (among other things). I went all the way up to the top and hiked around for a while (it was lightly snowing, which was cool), then walked down from the top to the middle station and rode the rest of the way down. It's not as high (relative to the several cable car options down the road in Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal), but free is good, there are plenty of good hiking trails at the top, and the view is first rate! Definitely worth a few hours (or a day) of your time.

Visited the water ski lake this week with my daughter and we had a brilliant time. Prices were reasonable, and we spent a couple of hours water skiing on the lake. The price included the hiring of skis, optional helmet and life jacket. It was quite busy, and we had to wait around 15 minutes before each ski. I will definitely return next summer, as it is a very cost effective way to ski, rather than behind a boat.

Climbing in the trees at 1200m above sea level is pure fun.Try the flying bear and you will get a tarzan feeling at a hight of 20m flying from tree to tree. Afterwards you have a lovely place called BÄRENFALLE where you get typical bavarian food. And the best to come: 43 bends luging down to the parkplace. This Alpsee Coaster is supposed to be the largest summer luge chance in Germany and to be honest. spare the breaks, just enjoy the speed and have an incredible run to the parkinglot where it is difficult to get rid of the grin in yourr face....

Although we knew that Breitachklamm is very popular destination we were surprised by number of tourists at the place, although weather that day was not perfect. We didn't have a problem with parking, were able to find place at the parking place directly at the entrance and all visitors behave surprisingly thoughtfully, but still it was not very comfortable. At the other hand the scenery is breathtaking, so I think visiting it was worth it that little discomfort. After visiting the canyon we decided to hike a bit in neighborhood. The trails were almost free of hikers, walking was not very difficult and was very enjoyable. Nature in the area is beautiful.

Not far from Sonthofen, in a small village Hinang, at the end of a nice and not a difficult trail, a beautiful and unexpected water fall awaits the traveler.
It is possible to arrive with a car near the entrance to the trail, drive right past the Cappelle for about 800m.
