This brauhaus is the world upside down, here the smokers sit inside and at the bar and the non smoking area is outside in a glass covered porch, not cosey at all
So no food test this time, only smelling clothes by just walking in.

Definitely not the best Mexican food I've ever had, however it's the best Mexican I can find in this part of Germany! Salsa is missing cilantro and is very thick tomato sauce, they could definitely improve the salsa! Fun place to gather with co-workers after work for Margaritas! Very close to work!

Le Galopin has the most wonderful lamb dish I have ever tasted. Excellent lamb, potato auflauf, and string beans. Yum! Service was great. Atmosphere was exceptional. I definitely will return.

Definitely worth a visit or two, good food, good Deserts, even some vegetarian options. The hazelnut pesto linguini has been my favorite so far. Only complaint I have is that they aren't creative with plating or any sides. They seem to give you a slab of zucchini and carrot in no matter what dish you order so that could definitely stand for some improvement however over all I've never been truly disappointed with the food, haven't been amazed by it either though.

We've been to Germany many times over the years, and this restaurant serves authentic cuisine. We had Goulash soup, Baked Sheep's Cheese w/grilled spicy peppers, onions & tomatoes w/herb olive oil, Schnitzel w/Bolognese, and Pork Tenderloin w/peppercorn cream sauce & spatzle. Great service and atmosphere...can't say enough how much we enjoyed!

This restaurant just opened in February of 2010<br>Phone 0631-4126329
Last year I came to get Pho and they sold out for the day. I was so sad! Just so happened to come back and try it. It was really great! As I've heard before: come for the noodles, stay for the broth! It had a great flavor all around. We also had spring rolls, but the pho was our favorite.

We, Ichiro and Takako Nakayama, come originally from Osaka (West Japan) which is famous for its tasty cuisine. Our menue offers next to Sushi also Okonomiyaki, which is one of the oldest dishes in Japan and a symbol for Osaka.Typical ingredients in Japanese cuisine are fish, meat, vegetables and seaweed. When preparing our dishes in Restaurant Ayame, we carefully choose high quality ingredients and find the right balance between protein, minerals and vitamins. For more than 40 years, my mother Katsuko Nakayama has been running a famous restaurant in Osaka which is specialized on Okonomiyaki dishes. We believe that our traditional recipes will delight our esteemed guests. We are looking forward to your visit to Restaurant Ayame.※ Of course, we offer our dishes also for take away.
Very authentic, your not going to find "dragon rolls" or other snake shaped rolls with cream cheese and sauces on top, these are not authentic Japanese sushi. You will find traditional Japanese sushi and other traditional dishes. I found the fish to be very fresh. The Sushi chef knows his craft. He can recommend a Japanese beer or saki to go with your meal. The restaurant is inside the Alcatraz Hotel. Their closed Sunday and Monday. If your a traditional sushi fan, I really think you will like this place. Probably the best sushi restaurant in Kaiserslautern. Oh, they take credit cards.

This is off the beaten path, but worth the detour! Fantastic African beer selection, with South African wines, but the highlight is the incredible food. Read the menu, as it explains how to use the bread to eat, and go without utensils. Everything is great, and we went with the big platter for four, totally worth it! Will be back many times.

Yes, I'm speechless that such a great place could remain undiscovered by me for - as the waiter states as we asked - one and a half year. And it's just been there in the center of the city all that time. 5 stars for the coffee and the service. An enthusiastic "Hurray" for the atmosphere that makes you forget you're stuck in the very province of Germany. Nice Music. No Wifi ("yet").
