The service beforehand was very good; I emailed if their rooms were available in English as well and I received a friendly email in German ánd English, writing it would be arranged. The reception was most welcome and enthusiastic. Our host Adina was fluent in English and we found out later that texts in the room were translated especially for us.
A lot of work was put into the storyline and Adina made sure we had a feel of the story before starting. We played the room "Leichenschausmaus" and it was a thrill from beginning to end. A lot of variation in the puzzles, which were well balanced and they fit in the storyline. Good effects to add to the experience and tension and a few surprises that I haven't seen in an escape room before, after playing quite a few. The atmosphere was just right and all members of our team really got the buzz that you hope for in an escape room experience that lasted the rest of the weekend.
I would highly recommend this room to both beginning and experienced players. Recommended group size is 4 persons.
My compliments to the staff, which went out of their way to facilitate us, for creating such an awesome experience.

Pure driving experiences and world-class driving tuition at the Nurburgring. I was in Germany picking up my Porsche at Leipzig and then drove Spa Francorchamps and Nurburgring under the guidance of RSR. They were world class in every respect. Terrific instructors and thorough briefing each day. They are clearly veterans in every phase from track knowledge to client relationships. I have driven other tracks in US, but not Europe. I highly recommend them; had the time of my life!

The beautiful rolling hills situated along the Mosel River make for one of Europe's great wine Valleys.
I love driving down to this part of Germany to spend some time marvelling at the views of the winding Mosel valley, enjoying the wines and sampling the local food. Sometimes we come down for the day (a long one) or, like recently, we spent the best part of three days in the area. We based ourselves in the hills above Leiwen and spent most of the time heading east along the river side to explore the many wine villages & towns such as Trittenheim, Piesport, Bernkastel-Kues, Kröv, Zell, Beilstein and Cochem. There are some great Castles to explore and, for keen walkers there are a plethora of well laid out walks on various degrees of difficulty to tackle.

We went on a Saturday but unfortunately Burg Eltz was closed due to winter season. Nevertheless it is a pretty place to go visit with friend and enjoy the walk. There are a few spots on the road from which you can have excellent views from the castle and it's surrounding. There are two or three parking lots no more than a kilometer away and the walk from it is easy and about 15 minutes long. Only be careful that there is no handrail on one of the paths and you'll have a river down 30 meters so better keep your kids close.

This 11th-century Cathedral holds the tombs of several archbishops and displays an impressive collection of religious relics.
This pair of remarkable churches will be sure to impress even the most cynical of frequent travelers. A true feast for the eyes, nearly 5 expansions are on display for you to pick apart. Both churches were damaged during WW2, so some authenticity was forcibly stripped away. This acts as a somber reminder of our recent history and adds a unique twist, however much I miss the authentic floors and windows.

Although often overshadowed by the tremendous Martinsdom, this Cathedral is notable for its dazzling Chagall stained-glass windows.
During my walking tour of Mainz with friends, I was advised to look inside the St. Stephan’s church. A lovely interior with unique Chagall blue stained glass windows and an interesting history. While not as ornate as some other churches, worth a look see.

Stefan's Wine and Christmas Paradise Stefan opened his shop, in St. Goar in the middle of the World heritage `Mittelrhein`, over 20 years ago. He is offering delecius Wines and Brandys made from his family. The first and still the most famous Brandy Stefan's family is producing is the peach Brandy. Made out of red peaches which are growing in the vineyards. Whenever you are entering the shop you will be offered a taste of it.: Be careful this Brandy make costumers return from all over the world. Today the variety of Stefan's Brandys got much bigger. The Menu offers something for every taste: from the famous peach Brandy to Blackberry Brandy, from different chocolate Brandys to winter apple brandy even a whisky or a cognac. And not to forget the Queen of the German wines 'Eiswein'. You will find this seldom wine as well in Stefan's shop. Eiswein must be produced from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine. The sugar and other dissolved solids do not freeze, but the water does, allowing a more concentrated grape. With Eiswein, the freezing happens before the fermentation, not afterwards. Only healthy grapes keep in good shape until the opportunity arises for an Eiswein harvest, which in extreme cases can occur after the New Year, on a northern hemisphere calendar. This gives Eiswein its characteristic refreshing sweetness balanced by high acidity. Eiswein production is risky (the frost may not come at all before the grapes rot or are otherwise lost) and requires the availability of a large enough labor force to pick the whole crop within a few hours, at a moment's notice, on the first morning that is cold enough. This results in relatively small amounts of Eiswein being made world-wide, making Eiswein generally quite expensive. You have some time in St. Goar come in and enjoy a free wine and Brandy tasting. Or enjoy your time browsing through the Christmas shop. You are visiting St. Goar with a group, no problem give a call and we set up a tasting with some snacks for you. Or what do you think of a free tasting at your home? And don't worry when your bottles get empty you can always order online and we ship it directly to your home. And of course we will reimburse your shipping as well when you order online.
Stefan is the best shopkeeper/friend you can have in St. Goar. Also say hello to his son - Joe - if he isn't working at his other labors.
Friendly atmosphere, great product selection, and amazing people. Also we received our shipment of souvenirs 8 days after we returned (18 days after visiting ).
Stefan's Wine Paradise is worth a detour.

I just loved this trip, I'm not a cable car lover, but this didn't feel at all scary or too high. The cars are open and almost bucket like shaped. The views were amazing and it was such a lovely relaxing journey up to the monument.
Probably ot worth it if the weather is poor though, we were lucky and had great weather, so the views of the Rhine were amazing. 8€ for a return journey was excellent value.

Koblenz Cable Car - a very special experience Hover over the Rhine in the Cable Car and discover the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Experience the unique views over a city with a tradition stretching back over 2000 years where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. Enjoy the spectacular Cable Car journey and take a stroll through the beautiful fortress grounds to discover the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress with its wonderfull Exhibitions and events. We look forward to welcoming you!
We took the cable car up to the fortress on a rainy day, and found it safe, comfortable, inexpensive, and very well run, with continuous service. Bring ID if wanting the senior discount. The views from the top are sensational, and the small restaurant nearby a nice convenience. Best of all, however, was the stonework and grounds of the fortress-very nice!

The Cathedral St. Mary and St. Stephen in Speyer is church that is unique in its spiritual, architectural, and historical dimensions. Day for day this house of God, founded in the 11th century, casts its spell on people, serves as a site of contemplation and prayer, and testifies to the legacy of romanesque architecture. Furthermore, the Cathedral of Speyer is the gravesite of Salian, Staufer, and Habsburg rulers, thus functioning as a symbol of the medieval emperorship. In 1981, the Cathedral was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. As an episcopal church, the Cathedral of Speyer is the spiritual centre of the diocese Speyer. Built in the Middle Ages as a house (Latin: domus) of God, to this very day its entire architecture serves to lead mankind to the Lord: the floor plan, the decoration, and all measurements serve this purpose. As an episcopal Cathedral church, as the cathedral's parish church, as a place of pilgrimage: mass is celebrated here every day of the week.
