On a busy Saturday lunchtime, we were lucky to find a small table, order beers and... food which the waiter forgot about! After 1 hour he came to tell us that he made a mistake and that he was going to ask the chef how long it would take. Long story short: 2 hours for a sausage and some spare ribs. Frustrating.

This is an Italian Restaurant with very good food and excellent wines at decent prices. Let the chef advise you about the wine and you will not go wrong!

Very good quality ingredients, cooked in the traditional Greek way. What is not too like? Excellent service and setting is nice.

This restaurant is very serious about their steaks. Had a filetsteak and it was one of the best I have ever tasted ever- and I have eaten quite a lot of them. Extremely nice and committed staff. They have a salatbar that is an experience in display and content. Special European/Asian atmosphere in this place. Very nice experience.

Was in Koblenz on business trip and chose Los Gauchos. There was 6 in my party. We had the house special fillet steak which was finished being prepared at our table. Los Gauchos are serious about their beef it was perfectly cooked to each request. Amazing. Staff were very attentive even though the restaurant was full to capacity. I will highly recommend and return again.

Nice authentic atmosphere. The food was not spectaculair, schnitzels were poor. Service was ok, but one of the serving ladies made quite a show of being frustrated that we made stains on the placemats. Unnecessary hostility does not add to the experience at all.

It didn't bode well - a totally deserted restaurant, the chef was away but we stayed. It was a great choice. Our waitress was very helpful and although they had a limited menu is was stunning with a still extensive selection.
We had soup to start with. Mine was a lobster bisque ( smooth and creamy) and my partner had a mushroom soup that was dense and aromatic. We followed this with Salmon and lemon risotto - delicate and very moorish and I had the venison with baked cabbage. This was a stunning dish and well rounded. All washed down with an excellent reisling.
The service was excellent not hurried and very relaxed and it was also very good value for money at about 60 Euros for two. Really very impressive and despite being empty it had style and atmosphere

Such a great bar/restaurant. Good quality German food at reasonable prices. Friendly, helpful waitress when my very rusty German gave out. Huge portions of schnitzel, very drinkable house white wine. Great location both for the centre of town and also people watching. The locals eat here so says it all. Just don't stay next door in Hotel Continental!

Perhaps it is because it was the holiday season and the Christmas markets are right outside their door but our service was neither friendly or quick. Seriously, I'm not sure the waitress spoke 2 words to us. The food was tasty enough but not exceptional in any way. I want to be fair with this review and maybe if the service had been friendly, we might have enjoyed the food more.
