Bali Treetop Adventure Park

The adventure park comprises a series of rope-walking courses among trees in Bali's largest botanical Gardens. Varying levels of difficulty make it appropriate for children as well as adults.

First and foremost, the weather was very good. Cooling temperature around 21degree which make this activity doesn't really sweat. Infact if you are not moving, it can get a bit of chill. We had fun trying out the courses although we did not complete everyone of them. The course get tougher as you go. My kids love the zip line the most and highly recommended for anyone who loves adventure and not afraid of height. The staffs are helpful and they will guide you what you need to do before you are allow on your own. Nothing too difficult as safety is top priority for everyone. Wish we had cater for more time for this activity.

Brother Bali Adventure

Reviewed By Melwhitte - Adelaide, Australia

These guys were fantastic!
They picked us up from our hotel (& were early), made the 3+ hour drive up to the Mountains and were very accomodating with toilet stops. Upon arrival they had clean toilets and showers (for after the ride) and took our order for lunch which is included.
The helmets were distributed and we wore gumboots.
A few circles were completed so the organisers can see how you ride (bikes are semi auto) and off we went. Trekking and weaving through huge bamboo and rice paddies with muddy tracks to play through. It certainly gets your heart racing but they guys were always there to make sure you were safe with lots of instructions.
Definitely worth it and highly recommend!!

Abandoned Bedugul Hotel

Reviewed By jaysuarjaya - Denpasar, Indonesia

The fact is this hotel is not maintained for a long time and certainly nothing that occupies, except maybe the ghosts. According to the beliefs of balinese, a place that not accupied for a long time is a perfect place with possibility of the residence of the ghosts, moreover a big place like this. Many stories behind the building, and of course local people will kept silent. As we know there are nothing on the media about this place since it abandoned.

Tegal Sari Bali Coffee

If Tegal Sari Bali Coffee is Tegal Sari Agro Wisata, here is my story.
Taxi drive brings us to here. It is a tour farm. We see Coca tree and fresh coffee beans in the tree. Even there is a lady baking beans on site. A tour guide shows us some products and services us samples. All taste delicious and impressive.
However, my friends buy some of Coca. The taste of Coca is not delicious anymore when drinking at home.

Pasar Candi Kuning

Reviewed By Fred G - Milton, Canada

My wife and I stopped off at this little tourist market, while on a guided tour of North Bali. Delicious local fruits, including samples of dragon fruit which we enjoyed. Purchased a dress for my wife, as well as wooden crafts, which utilized our bartering skills. Offer fifty percent of the quoted price, and then take it from there. Not a big market, as we only spent about twenty minutes there. Worth a visit.

Lake Bratan

Reviewed By SurfingWild - Bandung, Indonesia

Lake Bratan in Bedugul is where the famous Ulun Danu temple is located which is one of the most famous and icon views of Bali. The lake itself is not large, and sits inside an old volcano surrounded by tall volcanic Caldera walls. Also the temperature here is cooler than further south of the island.
Apart from the beautiful temple which sits on a tiny island, there are other activities here. I saw a people riding a speedboat and children fishing from a jetty.
There are very nice Gardens here with restaurants as well as many snack places. There is also a children's playground so the kids can be kept content.
The place is so peaceful that you can walk around and really take in the beauty of the location and enjoy the views across the lake with it's low clouds and steep sided cliffs.

Kubu means simple, rustic hut. Dikubu Strawberry is “at a simple strawberry hut”. The resto/ outbound is a strawberry farm, small fishing pond, camping ground, bbq area, playground and the lake, with mountain as the backdrop. A simple and affordable place for family fun activity. You can do bird watching by the lake. And canoeing on the deep blue Lake Bratan.

Baturiti Market

Reviewed By Perry W - Victor Harbor, Australia

A great Antidote to the tourist markets that tend to be included on tours. When we stopped to visit we were the only foreigners in the market. It's not particularly pretty, in fact it's downright grubby in places but it is the real thing - food produced by locals for locals. It's worth going with a guide as very few of the stallholders speak English although all were very happy to talk about their produce without any pressure or expectation of a sale.
One word of warning - be careful of the dogs. Our guide was bitten and had to drop by a local clinic for shots.

I this without a doubt was my favourite bike tour. It's mostly downhill, and you get driven back so you don't have to worry about climbing back up the steep hills. Incredible views the whole way. The ride went through small Balinese villages, small mountain roads and spectacular rice fields. There was a stop along the way at a roadside vendor who made delicious sauté.
A little experience riding would be an asset because you decent some pretty steep hills with some shape curves, but it's not to technical so the average ride can enjoy the trip. There is a vehicle following the riders in case there is a problem. Great day!

Sugeng Ariawan Arts Gallery

Reviewed By EredGorgoroth1 - Jakarta, Indonesia

I went to this place because it has a toilet. Ticket for toilet is Rp2000. The art gallery is showing some good paintings, I recognize. And I ended up watching the painting, including Balinese style painting depicting the society, and Ulun Danu temple that was painted like Tuscany. I ended up buying two paintings depicting two iconic Balinese mythological creatures.
