Waterfall-Breeze Eco Cafe 1 "THE THATCH ROOFED-WARUNG and COFFEE SHOP is temporarily Closed !!! The Reconstruction of the restaurant and coffee shop, parking area, access path is still in progress. It will be reopened by the mid of May 2018. Thanks a lots
We went to Eco Cafe 2 for dinner on our first night in Munduk and loved it so much we went back again for dinner another night and to Eco Cafe 1 for lunch after a hike. Their spring rolls with the peanut coffee sauce are incredible!
The staff are wonderful, and we loved hearing about the student & farmer initiative.
Just be careful you're heading to the authentic and original Eco Cafe 1 - on the hike we came across a fork in the road, and there were two signs - the false one reads, '"Eco" friendly coffee shop', with arrows pointing over the bridge, but luckily we chose the high road and found the real cafe. Pun intended. That other one appears to be under the same name and branding to lure people there instead!
Anyway! Thanks Eco for some great meals and friendly service!

Stopped for late lunch and we had strawberry juice, potato soup and chicken breast with vegetables and chips. All flavoursome and yummy (chicken bit tough but hey this is Bali).
Staff friendly enough and we were cold so they kindly brought us blankets. Entrance really pretty. Building delightful - all wood. Carved and recycled. Loved the big wood tables and benches

This place comes highly recommended on Lonely planet and hence we ignored many places on the way. Wish we hadn't. The place was deserted. It was the weekend and it was lunch-time. Many things on the menu were unavailable and we finally ordered vegetable cutlets. After half hour we got cutlets which turned out to be chicken. The man there was very apologetic and went back to frying vegetable cutlets. When they arrived another half hour later they weren't cooked well.
We were still hungry so we ordered toast. Didn't dare try anything else. Maybe it was just a bad day for the restaurant?

I ordered a chicken teriyaki, our food came like 45 minutes after everybody, even people who came after us where served before. Then my plate finally come: disgusting, a poor plain rice with no spice and a cold chicken. I told them it was cold and I wanted something else and she was arguing with me saying if I'm ordering something I'll have only this. They se told me it was not cold, putting her fingers in the plate and telling me no look it's not cold. Seriously??? They are not clever at all cause what I chose instead was actually 30k more expensive. Anyway as she were arguing, I told her to keep her plate and that I will not eat any single things from that bad restaurant. The option are limited around here so better eat in Ubud

The perfect spot to gather for breakfast, lunch and dinner with fresh and healthy flavored. In a cool, calm and living environment . We take credit card payement / we offer free transport from Munduk, Wanagiri.( min. 2 persons) Balinese and international restaurant located in the green hills of lake Tamblingan,in quiet rural village with amazing scenery of the Tamblingan, lake and sea shore. It also has two affordable luxury accommodation set in cool mountain air of Munduk north Bali.
This lovely restaurant with rooms makes a wonderful and peaceful base to explore the local area. There's a warm welcome from the staff and good quality food served is served in the restaurant and on the Terrace overlooking the lake.
The rooms are large and comfortable with good bathrooms and hot water. You can walk to the lake easily through the village but transport is a better option to see the many Waterfalls etc in the area.

Goog Food, Fine Wine, and a Wonderfull View..
Initially recommended by our homestay in Munduk, we ended up three times in Warung Classic during our four nights stay. You get blown away by the tremendous view - especially during and after sunrise. The staff was always very welcoming, the prices are very adequate and, most important, we enjoyed the food a lot - don‘t miss the Eggplant Balado, it‘s a blessing!

Good food though the time of day I went there, it was extremely busy and a bit noisy. The food was good and the staff were very nice. Buffet style. No real 'charm' to the place...though it was a warm day and it was nice to be in a cool and comfortable space.

Delicious food with a beautiful view over the rice terrasses. They offer Balinese/Indonesian dishes at fair prices. Try the Nasi Campur, delicious!
