Singaraja is a port town in northern Bali, Indonesia, which serves as the seat of Buleleng Regency. The name is Indonesian for "Lion King" (from Sanskrit singha and raja). It is just east of Lovina, with an area of 27.98 km² and population of 80,500, the second largest on the island.

Sekumpul Waterfall is touted as the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. It is fairly close to Niagara Falls Lemukih, only about 2 km away. Understandably, the Village and Village Lemukih Sekumpul indeed neighbors. To see Sekumpul Waterfall close, it takes a bit of effort and struggle. From the parking lot, you have to walk quite far away, down a dirt road, down the hundreds of stairs, and across the river. When you ride a motorcycle, you can still ride from the parking lot (near the ticket window), to the end of the road paving. After paving the way out, the road turned into a narrow dirt road (footpath). Not long down the path, you arrived at a blank bale (gazebo) with Niagara Falls Sekumpul incredible lure.
The falls are far from many other Bali places, but it's so worth going there!
We rented a car without a driver (325000IDR) and drove to falls from Jimbaran.
It took around 3.5 hours, but the scenic views lasted nearly all the times.
In case you come along, without a driver or tour, don't stop at signs Parkir 1 and 2 for Sekumpul Waterfalls. If you do, someone would drive you to a main parking for additional charge.
We went directly to Sekumpul parking, which you find on Google maps.
From there you may take a guide (I recommend to get him unless you've been there and know where to go), the guy will show you around, take you to falls, make pictures of you and help on the way back.
We were very lucky with our guide as well as with the weather - a real tropical thunderstorm in rainforest was one of a kind experience!
Highly recommended!!!!

Not for the faint of heart...Firstly a 3-5 km drive down a one-way extremely steep road/rut you arrive at the "parking"lot. From there another moderate hike down the mountainside ending at the twin falls. This was by-far the most personal excursion of our Bali adventure. Along the walk the mountainside was actually weeping as we proceeded along the narrow path. The falls were spectacular in their seclusion and ambiance. Want to feel Bali in the raw.....take the trek and drink-in the splendor of the Twin falls. We had a driver.

This was probably one the largest Waterfalls I have seen, in terms of amount of water coming down. There is a about a 15 minute walk on a concrete trail to the water. The down side is there are annoying vendors all along the way selling useless wares, which doesn’t make sense since this is about seeing nature. Not sure of the business mindset where nature lovers equals shopping opportunity - then again it’s Indonesia. In any case, the waterfall is totally worth seeing, though it is not really safe to swim. My tour guide kept insisting my family and I swim but the current is somewhat strong and very rocky. Another downside is it is a 3 hour drive from the Nusa Dua area. So worth a visit if you are in the area.

Both the hot Springs and the restaurant are worth a visit. The jet of water coming from the Springs is a perfect massage for your back and shoulders. You should allow 1,5 - 2 hours including lunch. Changing rooms and lockers available. Restrooms clean. Food very tasty, Indonesian style but also some western dishes. Very reasonably priced.

See more the Secret beuty in Sambangan Secret Garden and see Seven fantastic waterfall
The best thing I did in Bali so far. It's beautiful and exciting. A local guide is needed to get to the Waterfalls. We payed 75.000 per person. There are 7 Waterfalls in this area, Aling-Aling is one of the most well-known but it's the least impressive in my opinion. The other Waterfalls you can jump/slide off. The hike is around 30 minutes and then you can choose to jump of 5, 12 or 16 meter! the local people will tell you where to jump. It was so scary but I'm happy I did it. Life jackets are available for those who do not want to jump without. Make sure to bring your underwater camera for amazing videos of you jumping. It's near Lovina, hotspring, other Waterfalls so if you are in the neighborhood make sure to go here!! it's amazing. Wear good shoes, bring your bikini, sunblock and enough water to drink.

This is the shrine to worship the god of death Ciwa or Durga so that when someone dies, his/her soul will depart for the heaven, not meandering on the earth.
This was one of our favorite temples in Bali. Not only is it off the beaten path, its historical value, detailed symbolic carvings, and the amazing Priest/Tour Guide make this place a serious win! We spent about 45 mins walking the grounds while we were given a full history of the temple and what each of the carvings meant or represented. He also shared insight into the culture and practices of the Hindu religion and the reasons why this temple is quite unique when compared to the others on the island. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

a must to visit, definitely worth the 1 hour trek down to the waterfall. We visited late afternoon, according to the guide (a must due to steep slope and slippery banks) morning is the best time to visit because you may see a rainbow. Nevertheless, it was really beautiful, 3 Waterfalls on 1 side and 2 on the other side. Highest being around 95 metres. It's definitely one of the best in Bali.

This was a very interesting place. Even though we were the only westerners, some of the locals acknowledged us and we spoke to a family sitting close by. Fantastic picnic spot or purchase some local food. School holidays so families were enjoying the time with their children. This is something different rather than the hot Springs. Water was rather cold!!

The friendly staff took time enough to give us an understandable explanation about the library and the method used to make a lontar. They show copies, not the originals. During the holidays later on we visited the village Tenganan. You can find there craftsmen who nowadays use the same technique for calendars and other books.
