The dinner i had has been my best metal even when in Bali.
The chef has some subtle Danish influences which goes very well together with the Balinese kitchen! We had the Beef Barabicu (pork belly) that was cooked to perfection and fish with pilau rice, lobster bisque and beet pure that was absolutely brilliant!

Small quiet bistro-like restaurant tucked away a few minutes from Lovina beach strip.
We could tell they made an effort with the presentation - the dishes looked very appetizing (not sure if the photos capture this as well as I want them to) on the plate.
I tried the satay chicken with chicken lemongrass skewers served with a peanut dip on the side. Amazing flavors! If I ever go back to Lovina I will come back here.

My wife who is Thai and I visited this restaurant a couple of days ago,I can tell you that if you want authentic Thai food don't come here .the chefs are not Thai ,we asked for spicy but the food was not, in fact it was quite plain and nothing like Thai food, I had chicken with cashew nuts ,it was just cooked chicken with nuts added rather than all stir fried together!
My wife had yum talay with seafood,it was just mixed seafood in a sweet sauce ,it should have been mixed with hot chills and not sweet.
So having read many good reviews with trip adviser we went along but unfortunately we were disappointed

We have already been there twice since we arrived in Lovina 1 week ago and there really is nothing, that we could complain about. They have a daily changing fish menu, which is depending on the catch the fishermen could make (the first time we had dinner here, they could even offer a whole Barracuda which did look delicious but we had already decided on the Tuna-Steak, which tasted fantastic!). The prices here are absolutely reasonable and especially the starters (spring rolls of different variations and the likes) are awesome!
Though somebody on the table next to ours complained about the taste of his Mahi-Mahi (fish) we couldn't agree, as we were both having fish also (I had the whole Squid and my wife went for the whole Red Snapper) and both dishes were absolutely high-class. Same goes for the desserts, of which especially the fried banana with ice (or without, if you don´t like ice) is a very delicious treat according to my wife, who ordered it both times we ate here. I only had a dessert once, the Layer Cake, which tasted very good as well and was also enough for me, despite the fact, that I first thought it´s a bit small a portion, when I saw it. The Warung offers daily live-music usually starting at 7:30 p.m. which makes for a very nice atmosphere also. We´ll spent two more weeks in Lovina and will definitely go there more than just once again, as we really had a fantastic evening both times we were there yet. Matur suksma sangat, keluarga di Warung Dolphin!!!!

Enjoy traditionally cooked Balinese and Indonesian food, using only fresh ingredients (no MSG) in an exquisite ambiance restaurant. Transfers from your hotel are available (additional charge applies, depending on the distance, please ask in advance for the price)
This place is fantastic. Dinner at our nearby hotel was so disappointing we decided we must do something else the following evening. So we stopped at Warung Bambu for a lunchtime drink to research, and ended up up eating lunch and meeting the lovely Adi - who is a great host, and turned out to be a superb cookery teacher.
The food is very fresh and the service great. My wife enrolled for the cookery course the following morning, and then we ate the dishes for lunch.
Adi also arranged a dolphin viewing trip at just over half the price quoted by the hotel.(All trips leave the same beach at 06.00 in the morning). We needed a car to Mengangan, which she organised too. No hard sell, just a desire to help.
It's a shame this place isn't in a more prominent location.
If you are within taxi-ride distance, grab a cab and visit - you will be rewarded with great food at very reasonable prices.

We are staying at the Lovina and came here based on TA reviews and proximity to our hotel. It was very quiet with just one other table when we arrived around 7:45pm. We had a table right on the beach and it was lovely to hear the sounds of the waves. They also had a terrific band singing as we ate which really added to the atmosphere. We had garlic bread, chicken katsu (delicious!), satay and crispy noodles. It was all tasty, fresh and delivered with friendly and efficient service. It was all so good that we made a reservation to return tomorrow. They also provided free transport back to our hotel. Highly recommended!!!

I have cooked with Wira twice now and on both occasions I have really learnt and enjoyed my time. The restaurant is from the outside very deceptive of the standard inside. The atmosphere is fantastic. Wira and his family welcoming, friendly and very helpful. You wont be disappointed and I couldnt recommend cooking lessons more. I have been twice and will go again. Thanks Wira for a excellent time.

An open air dining room with Balinese designs. Enjoy the hillside view and cozy place
As first timers here, we were advised the meals are small..., we are full! There is complimentary bread to start, so maybe don’t have garlic bread as well!! Chicken spring rolls are fresh and tasty, mains were perfection... dessert was ‘my eyes were bigger than my belly!!’
Great staff.... much appreciated door to door service ☺️

Vegetarian cafe lovina Bali, selling organic salads, smoothies, ice creams, falafel and pastas. Health food shop and weekly yoga classes.
My husband and I popped in here for lunch yesterday. It is cosy with a very relaxed atmosphere. We sat out the front and watched the world go by, whilst enjoying some nice food. However, it wasn't until we spontaneously ordered a scoop of homemade ice cream that we realised what a gem this place is. Without a doubt, the rich chocolate ice cream is THE BEST chocolate ice cream I have had had anywhere - including Italy (and they invented the stuff!). Really rich and thick. Stunning. We're planning to do a 1.5 hour detour on our way back just so we can have more. That's how good it is!

Went to the large, attractive new location and had an excellent dinner. My pepes ikan (fish w/ herbs and spices wrapped in banana leaf and grilled) was generously portioned and delicious. My wife's grilled chicken (ayam bakar) was equally good and we both liked the accompanying, well-cooked melange of green beans and carrots.
