The most enchanting beach in Europe. You don't need to travel far to the Seychels Islands or the Maldives to have such beauty and such warm Crystal clear water. And Cretian people are particularly nice and helpful. We can easily eat vegetarian meals in allmost every restaurants. We come back again this summer!

Modern, uptodate building on the foot of the Acropolis housing important ancient Greek statues and much more
Various people had said that I must see the Museum & honestly I was a bit underwhelmed. There are some spectacular exhibits to see, but unfortunately the majority of the quality works have been pillaged centuries ago. Obviously, The Parthenon Marbles are in The British Museum, along with many other pieces around the world that were stolen/given/bequeathed etc. from The Acropolis.
It's only €5, very reasonable. If you want to check it out there's some great works to see, but I wouldn't say that it's essential to visit in Athens.

No matter how many pictures you see, they can't show you the majestic feel of Meteora. It was simple breathtaking, from the Mountains to the temples...it was so worth the drive from Athens I would do it again in a heartbeat because there is never enough time to see everything.

It's not so often in our lives when we can contact snails and other reptiles directly without fear - in this place you can do it. The only way to improve this place is to make it more easy to find.

On my farm in Ancient Olympia, from which my grandparents made their living, and today is the basis of my own agricultural activities, you'll enjoy Greek hospitality. You will walk into our cool garden with trees and vegetables. I will guide you through my private collection, where I'll show you the secrets of honey production and other agricultural products from both past and present. Finally you will taste the products of my little farm and traditional sweets with honey from my bees, which with the help of my mother, will be prepared in front of you. Klio the beekeeper

To arrange a visit on a different day and time, please contact the museum. Don't be put off by the name 'museum', this is not a sterile exhibition of dusty artefacts but a carefully restored Cycladic olive mill. The attention to detail in the restoration is incredible and this alongside a video presentation and a personal talk by the owner make this a really special and informative experience. It is the best preserved animal powered old olive mill in Andros island. The mill was restored and transformed into museum, in order to offer to every visitor, regardless of age, the option to come close to the underling culture of the valuable product and to get familiar with the old traditional techniques of olive oil production as well. Besides they can see the traditional technics of constructing buildings in Cyclades through the centuries.
This Cyclades Olive Museum was lovingly restored by its present owner Dimitris. The knowledge and passion of this man brings to life an ancient and very important tradition of producing olive oil on this beautiful island. We were greeted by Dimitris and enthralled by the...MoreWe are so glad that we managed to offer you knowledge about olive oil production and qualities among with information about agricultural traditional architecture, in an interesting and pleasant way. My husband and I stayed in a traditional house for 2 nights and loved the whole experience.
Follow the meandering cobblestone lanes all over the island to discover all the fortress has to offer.
The smooth cobblestones are very slippery especially when wet so wear good non slip walking shoes.
The climb up to the castle takes about 20mins via the stairs and the sea views from the top are wonderful.

A true hidden treasure. Excellent museum telling the story of silver making in Ioannina with examples of the craftsmanship. I particularly enjoyed the extensive exhibit on Judaica.

This rive has fantastic colors once it gets out of the ground. If you'll visit the Vikos canyon observation points, which have amazing views of their own, you'll be quite surprised to see that the river is (may be) actually dry on those spots. But further down, definitely below the village of Vikos and under the bridge of the road that leads to Papigo and Micro Papigo, the river is flowing in marvelous colors and allows a wonderful rafting experience (as long as you're in for the views and not for the rafting itself which is VERY calm). Overall, wonderful experience with amazing nature and river views.

This beach on some days is like a swimming pool with it calm, crystal clear waters and sand that stretches for a few kilometers. On other days, when there is wind, it's a great place to jump the waves, and truly enjoy the warm water and sun. Plus, the umbrella and two chairs will cost you between 5-10 euros, and the guy will bring you drinks as snacks as needed. Paradise!!!
