We eat here maybe every 3 months or so,the staff are friendly and attentive, the food always exceptional and price wise there's never any complaints from any of us.
Close your eyes and you could be in Thailand with the music, smell of the good and the Thai chitter chatter.

Set in the rural village of Bournheath, Bromsgrove, The Gate offers a Warm and Friendly welcome to old and new customers alike with Great food and drink. The speciality here is Tex-Mex and we should know, we've been doing it for over 40 years now! This, accompanied with our exciting new range of Craft Beers and Cocktails, makes for an interesting and not run of the mill experience. Be sure to visit us during our exciting themed evenings too; 'Monday of the Dead' + 'Trump Tuesday' for some great value American + Mexican cuisine. Casa de Tex Mex!
Our men's group visited as one of our regular outings having been there several times before. We knew from experience to avoid the speciality beers as they are so overpriced but be warned. .
The food is to a god standard with a Tex-Mex theme and provides for a good culinary experience but as always the service let's them down.
Some meals are served and then others take forever to arrive . We had seven desserts and after the first two had come the waiter disappeared to do something else. Three then came and another pause before the last two arrived. What made it worse was that two other staff members were busy clearing tables and setting for the following day when they could have been waiting on.
Management needs to review the operation.

A pleasant evening with friends. Service is very good; polite and efficient. The food is fine, but is nothing out of the ordinary. The restaurant itself is pleasant and the toilets are beautifully clean.

Rosados is just a great place to eat, lots of choice and good midweek value menus.
The food is always fresh and well cooked.
Weekends are excellent Friday and Saturday night with an exceptional choice for Sunday lunch.
We turned up without booking for 6 people and the front of house manager rearranged tables especially to fit us in.
Great customer service in deed.
Fully recommended.

"This is a lovely tea room situated just inside the grounds of the Avoncroft Building museum. Entry to the museum is not required to visit this lovely, old-fashioned tearoom serving home made cakes and light meals".
Had a lovely Christmas afternoon tea which was a lot different to the usual sandwiches, cakes and scones found elsewhere. We had Brie and cranberry sandwiches, Turkey and stuffing sandwiches, sausage rolls, mini Yorkshire puddings with beef and horseradish, mini quiches, cranberry scones with cream and jam, mini ginger cakes, tiffin, chocolate log and a mince pies. Included was unlimited tea. It was delicious and to top it off the staff were lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Family run restaurant offering you the chance to cook 'on the rocks' ie on volcanic rock, at your table. Healthy, fun, interactive dining. All steaks are 21 day matured, locally sourced Fish is excellent and fresh. All dishes are freshly prepared inhouse and our cheesecake is already the talk of the town!!
As a group I imagine it is a much better experience. As a couple wanting a high quality meal out, a bit disappointed...
Given the cost: We found the organisation on arrival a little mixed up but staff were pleasant throughout, food prepping on the table (cooking for yourself) was fun, but the food was a little flavourless. Decor was also average.
Drinks were good however.
Cost was £70 for two to eat and drink, but quality (taking into account comfort, food quality and organisation) should be £45-50...
Shame as nothing else like this nearby...

Recently renovated and reopened on 3rd November 2015 under new management. All previous reviews do not represent new ownership and are not reflective of the fully refurbished, bar, kitchen and dining area. We are a family run pub using fresh, locally sourced produce in our home cooked meals. We offer a variety of local favourite ales. A warm welcome is guaranteed! The setting is idyllic in the heart of Dodford village, with stunning views across Dodford, Bromsgrove and Wychbold. There are local favourite walks in the surrounding area which we fully recommend..We welcome dogs on leads in our bar area.
Visited there this evening having been recommended by a good friend. No question that the food quality, presentation and taste was excellent but somewhat let down by slow, disorganised service. There were just four of us and it was a longer than average time between courses and then my wife’s refill of a glass of wine was forgotten twice. There did not seem to be any front of house coordination between servers and then when it came to,pay I had to ask three times for the card machine to be brought to the table. Such a shame because it was our first visit. I will try it again but once bitten.........

The Queens Head pub and restaurant is located in a tranquil setting overlooking the water of one of Worcestershires most beautiful canals. As the sun sparkles on the water, kick back and relax with a glass of your favourite tipple and treat yourself to some gourmet fare.Recently renovated the way only lovelypubs can, the Queens Head is a vibrant and welcoming space combining classic features such as Victorian floor tiles with beaten copper and the natural textures of wood and stone.Great Food and DrinkThe Queens Head at Stoke Pound, near Bromsgrove, offers a great menu including wood fired pizzas, barbeques and also live music.
With an late afternoon/ very early evening bite to eat in mind, Bromsgorve offers little but the Queens is reliable with good offers at that time of day. Good service, slightly different menu and lovely surroundings make this a worth while destination
