There’s not a lot to do on Elafonisos...which is just how its peace-seeking visitors like it. This tiny Greek island is a mosaic of jewel-colored flowers, soft white sand, and aquamarine sea. Elafonisos is all about the beach, baby, with pristine snorkeling conditions and quiet stretches of sand. Every day ends on a happy note when you can dine on fabulously fresh seafood at a harbor-side tavern, relaxing under a tangerine sunset.

My uncle grew up on Elafonisos and this year i finally had the chance to visit this beautiful Island. My best childhood memories of my uncle are the big family dinners. Dinner at Antonis brought back these fond memories - great food in family atmosphere.

It is a lovely venue to see the sunset but the food was not as exciting as promised. We ate Tsaiti for the first time. The chef makes her own version which is very nice but I prefer the original recipe. We also ate chorea beans which were different. The tzatziki, risotto with chicken and the calamari were all good. We only drank water and beer with the meal and it came to 45 euros

If you are looking for a dinner sitting the closest possible to the sea, this is the place.Fast and gentle service, and food has the best value for money.Maybe the salad("Takos")would need some more tomato pcs,the mussels were maybe the best we tasted, and the pie(Haiti)was really not...Moredear Jacques B, thank you very much for the review. It was a pleasure for us to offer you a great dinner in your vacations. Hope to see you again soon

The Art of Mediterranean Cuisine
Nice place(tables practically over the water),a quick and very friendly service.First serving was really nicely presented (seen on the first 2 pictures),and tasty. We had a pasta with "gambas " and a "kofta".Good and fresh ingredients, but steal something was missing of the taste .
Wine served could be of a better taste.but, even so,we would come back

The family restaurant is a very cozy one.
Nice flowers with Greek music playing in the background and the very friendly owners will make you definitely stay there and try their dishes.
The father will grill for you bread with oregano and olive oil, the son will run here and there and try to serve you as good as possible and the mother will cook in the kitchen delicious dishes.
We stayed 2 nights on the island and didn't eat somewhere else..
All in all, a very nice experience in a nice Greek atmosphere.

We came here for dinner repeatedly because of the nice atmosphere. The hospitality couldn't be any better and the food is really very well prepared. Compared to other Elafonisos restaurants that ranked high on TripAdvisor the real life experience of this one holds up to the expectations!

We joined trakaina for lunch ,
The service was good and fast but the food wasn't something special and definately not cheap
I tried pork , chicken , kebab and bifteki along with a greek salad
But i didn't try with pitta so i can't have an opinion about thay
The other days i joined other restaurants and i don't think that it deserves the 1st place on trip advisor

The food was good, a bit overpriced for the period, fast service even though we were the only customers when we got there, great view and very friendly stuff.

We went there twice with my husband and daughter. The staff is very friendly and the food we ordered was excellent! Their pizza pies are out of this world! Paper thin crust but soooo tasty. You can pick your toppings! They have a good selection of beers and their desserts are also amazing! They have mini waffles and you pick toppings like praline, nuts, ice cream etc.
