This is such a gorgeous beach with white sand. We have enjoyed walking along the beach in the mornings and admiring the sunset in the evenings. This time we were staying at a little cottage overlooking the beautiful beach.
We were advised by the owner that we should be careful in the evenings because there have been some muggings lately. I guess one has to be careful in many places in the world.
This time, we got smarter and got closer to the beach. We would be able to enjoy the sunset over the beautiful beach just sitting on our porch!
This beach is a must-visit in Noorhoek!

We have two self catering flatlets available at 245 Rand pp per night.Overlooking Fish Hoek beach for beautiful day and night views, we are near to all the local restaurants and shops and also the train station for easy transport into Cape Town itself. Email us for further details!
Two of us rented bikes from Mark for a ride around the beautiful Cape Town in November 2017.
With Chapmans Peak Drive closed and a forest fire from the night before still raging, Mark very helpfully plotted an alternative route on a map for us.
The bikes were good - all accessories were included (i had a lot of time for the frozen bottle of water).
I would definitely recommend using Cycle the Cape if you are planning a ride in Cape Town. If i am ever back in town, i will be doing it again!
Thanks for everything. Top service all round

Check the times - opening is at 4pm on Friday evening and it very soon gets busy. There are the arts and crafts but also there is the music and many different cuisines from the kitchens in the hall. A few different micro brewery stalls - and if you are early check outer micro brewery next door. There is an out door Seating area as well as inside and pretty soon the place will fill with families and friends.

This was a perfect way to start any week! Lush green fairways, amazingly smooth greens, smiling Pro Shop staff, efficient service, nice halfway house and clubhouse, good quality Sun Mountain trolleys, beautiful fauna, flowers and birds( peacocks, ducks etc) and played early so no waiting! Well worth the Green Fees. Fabulous experience all round. Through the drought, Clovelly is able to stay lush and green, from the natural water and streams running by it.

Cape Towns own 2.3Km Zipline tour is one of Africas longest and Highest tours based in the Mother City. We also have adventures in and around Cape Town from Sandboarding, Quad biking (ATV) White Water Rafting, Tubing. We own the activities so rest assured when you book we do not send you to a 3rd party supplier - we believe in a personal touch and professional service.
This tour was arranged entirely beginning with our hotel pick up and scenic drive to the site. Quad bike was first with a ride through the vineyards up to the top of Hamilton Russell mountain with picturesque views. There was a brief orientation on operating the Quad bike before we took off. I would mention to anyone considering this that you should wear clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Quad biking is fun, but also kicks up a lot of dust while riding! next was our Zip Line adventure. Again, quick practice zip line to orient us to the activity. The course begins at the top and consists of 10 zip lines down to the bottom. There are no steep descents but some zip lines on the course are faster than others. Our guides were very helpful on both parts of tour. Overall great experience that created fun memories!

Pepe Charlot is a hidden gem tucked away in Imhoff Farm, Kommetjie. I visited with a group of 12 ladies and were warmly welcomed by the owner and cheese maker - Pepe - who gave us the most informative talk on the making of Goats' cheese, and showed us around the premises. This was followed by a wonderful cheese tasting - six different Goats milk cheeses accompanied with wonderful home baked bread and wine! What a wonderful way to spend a morning! We all came home laden with different cheeses to enjoy!
Can really recommend a visit to Pepe Charlot to sample his cheeses, purchase and enjoy. Pepe is passionate about his cheese making, having learned the art from his grandfather in France, and whose spirit lives on in Imhoff.

The Constantia Valley has an appeal that offers something of interest to everyone, from award winning restaurants offering, luxurious boutique hotel accommodation with spa’s as well as quant B&B’s. There are beautiful greenbelts to walk on, shops to explore, a brilliant zip lining adventure, mountain biking, horse riding, unique shops and a wine farms.
There’s no doubt this is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The choice is a leisurely drive around or just fix on one winery or restaurant and relax. It’s a haven from the bustle of Cape Town Waterfront.

We had passed through on our way elsewhere, but stopped coming back for something to eat and decided to take an after lunch stroll around the hillside. It was quite windy while we were there, but this didn't change the lovely setting and great views we all took in.

Welcome to Noordhoek Farm Village and our Noordhoek Community. Home to Bob Skinstad's country pub, Franck Dangereux's culinary skills, the Cape's best bakery, an eco hotel, funky shops and more. We love, food, kids, sport, art and life! Noordhoek Farm Village is situated 30 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre in the tranquil farm atmosphere of Noordhoek. Dine with us, stay with us, play with us.
A great place to stop for al fresco refreshments before or after taking the Chapman’s Peak drive, or the longer trip to Cape Point.
Some interesting curios not dramatically overpriced. Browse carefully for the unique items you will find tucked away amongst the more conventional. Some really clever t-shirt prints for gifts.
Some quality food outlets, most requiring booking.
Often tight on parking space, but not impossible with some patience.
