Bournemouth’s seven miles of beach and exceptionally warm microclimate make it a favorite of U.K. travelers. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re a watersports fanatic (try surfing lessons!) or just want to let your kids splash around in the calm waters. For a traditional Bournemouth vacation, rent a classic beach hut.

I’ve literally just returned from the most delicious dinner here. I had the mushrooms with garlic and cheese then fillet steak with Diane sauce, roast potatoes, new potatoes, swede, broccoli and peas and I don’t know how but I managex a finger slice of cherry cheesecake! The steak was like velvet and so good and the cheesecake was amazing, my friends had different choices and each of them were great - pate, prawn cocktail, pork with pepper sauce and chicken with a cream mushroom sauce and trifle. Superb value, really great sized portions. Lovely ambience, friendly service and being given time inbetween courses not rushed. When I return to Bournemouth I’ll be returning here
Truly highly recommend

Now fully re open following major refurbishment.
Went here recently and all ordered fresh cod, with drink, mushy pea, unlimited cups and unlimited tea or coffee.
Fantastic value for money, chips were so crispy and the fish was beautiful.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff
Definitely will be back when I'm the area

Gilbey's Restaurant in Bournemouth is situated in the Liston Hotel which is two minutes from the Cliff Top Gardens in Boscombe Spa. The large open restaurant with polished oak floor and wall murals of Edwardian days on the pier compliments the cosy bar and entrance hall with original features dating back to the turn of the century. Our food is modern English/French with some influences from the rest of the World. On arrival we ordered pre-lunch drinks in the bar and had the menu to consult. Within a short while our orders were placed. Not long afterwards we were seated in the large airy restaurant.
Our three courses were very good and the service from the two waitresses 100% and friendly too.
We had coffee in the bar area after the meal.
This is certainly a hidden gem of a restaurant.

Took my wife here for a birthday meal, it was fantastic food and really good service. Best Tapas in town for sure, with lots of choices. Will definitely return.

We had lunch and it was fantastic. We had the Rustica pizza (delicious), Mexican vegetarian pastry and a made-to-order smoked salmon/cheese baguette. All meals were served with salad or grilled vegetables.
The coffee was fantastic, as good as we get in Sydney.
The decor is a mix of Italian and rock and roll, and there is great rock music playing.

The best Pizza in Bournemouth made using quality fresh ingredients, with daily prepared dough and cooked in a traditional wood fired Italian oven. To eat in, delivered locally or to take away Open every day, lunch and dinner We are licenced and serve wine and beer with your meal. we also make our own Gluten free bases and serve Violife vegan cheese.
Service was super quick which it should be because we were the only ones in there, but the venue is so small felt so claustrophobic. Food was average, nothing special

The Award Winning Renoufs Cheese and Wine Bar brings a great new dining concept to Westbourne, Bournemouth. We boast a superb selection of Cheese and Charcuterie to pair with our extensive selection of wines. We believe we are the only venue in Dorset to be able to offer over 200 different quality wines by the glass. Our cheese and charcuterie boards are simply superb and accompanied with fresh daily baked bread, biscuits, pickles and fruits. We cater for parties of 1-50 and the restaurant can be booked outside of normal opening hours by calling Trevor at the restaurant. Renoufs is all about sharing. Our sharing Boards are over 1 meter in length of cheese, charcuterie, olives, pates, hummus, breads, fruits and so much more.

Popped into Charminster’s best restaurant with my family. Always welcomed by the owner Haytham, food is always superb and you also have a wide range of choice to choose from. I would highly recommend anybody thinking of trying this place out. A must!

Alfie's is an amazing fish and chip shop with such friendly and helpful staff. We ate in and the food was freshly cooked to order yet delivered in a perfectly acceptable time. It's a very clean place, very pleasant to sit in. Newspapers are provided and it just ticks all the boxes. The delicious fish and chips are perfectly cooked and are everything you want them to be. A great experience and we look forward to returning soon.

5* service from arrival to departure. Excellent food, clean, accommodating, no rushing even though queues for seats at the door, and a cute young waitress with a lovely smile, helpful demeanour, and attentive work ethic. There's a lot that bigger business could learn from this bijou eating place. We'll be back for sure.
