The service was fantastic. Fast friendly and very sweet. The food was mEh. at best. My hunny had pan fried haddock it was generous but kind of bland. The veggies were a nice mix but no seasoning. My mom and I had the 8 oz striploin MR. Mine came out MW and right away the server got me a new one . But the steaks were very thin and not the best quality. I can't see any reason to go back. Other than the service.

We had been meaning to get here for quite a while...
The food was tasty. Nothing out of this world inventive, but perfectly cooked, high quality food. There is something for everyone here -- it looked as though there were vegetarian and gluten free options in addition to more traditional entrees. We liked the fact that nothing was really "weird" -- don't get me wrong, we like to try new things, but the menu had everything necessary for a nice meal without being pretentious.
My partner had ribs and I had haddock. He started with Caesar salad and I had smoked salmon. Dessert was carrot cake for me and chocolate pecan tart for him Portions were a nice size -- not huge, but not tiny either. The service was professional, friendly and attentive. We felt welcome throughout the meal.
The century home has a wonderful ambience, and we booked ahead and sat in the window.
This was one of the best meals for the price that we have had in a long time. The 3 course meal was a bargain at $34.95. The wine list was not extensive, but there was something for everyone. Homemade bread was fresh and tasty.
3 courses, 1/2 litre of wine, 2 coffees and a shot of liqueur was $120 after tax, before tip.
We would highly recommend and will go back.

Comfortable friendly diner in Beautiful downtown Windsor. Home style cooking and the best seafood this side of Heaven!
Visited several times now while passing through. Friendly staff and fresh food. Good variety on the menu and very reasonably priced. I had the scallops with rice and my wife had an open face hot chicken dinner from the seniors menu. Very good portions, hot and fresh veggies on the side. No Parking lot, but parking was available on the street close by. Appears that a lot of the locals eat here, as most of the patrons seemed to know each and engaged us in conversation as well. Will definitely visit again and do not hesitate to recommend to fellow travellers passing through.

All the other reviewers are right, this spot has great food. The interior is a little worn looking and probably not where you would go for a romantic evening. However, the food was phenomenal. No nonsense great fresh pizza. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten with great balance of ingredients and flavour. The healthier whole wheat crust is a nice option too. Highly recommended!

Hubby started with the soup and says it definitely came from a can of Habitant. Entrees were pan fried haddock which was acceptable but not a lot of flavour to it and Hamburg steak was okay but no real flavour or seasoning. Mashed potatoes definitely came out of a bag. The food was passable but we wouldn't go back. Staff were very friendly, fast and polite.

Italian Restaurant, Pizza
There are three good restaurants in the immediate area of Lucky Italiano,
one adjacent ,, one across the street. You cannot go wrong eating at any of them The Lucky Italiano serves delicious pasta, I had smoked salmon fettucini, my wife had curry chicken with roasted red peppers and spinach.A good option is that you can buy a half serving between 11 and two, perfect for lunch. Friendly service by the owners and all freshly made. A star in the trio !

Everyone was pleased with their food. Fish and chips was awesome, seafood chowder was loved by all, one person had the burger and said it was awesome. Service was excellent and prices very reasonable for quantity and quality. Highly recommend the fish and chips.

I enjoy dropping in here when out on a bike ride. The coffee is very decent: fair trade and all. I enjoy the spanakopita served with tzatziki and bean sprouts on the side. Nice atmosphere. I probably should be wearing Berkenstocks and not motorcycle books when in the establishment. The venue exudes an ethos and aspirations of what was once classed as counter-cultural but is fairly much mainstream these days. Very comfortable and nice locale, all told.
