Conveniently located just a short walk from the Hampton Inn at Dartmouth Crossing. We were delighted to be able to walk over and enjoy a morning walk before heading to airport for long flight home. Well maintained paths. Interpretive signs in a few places.

This place has everything you could possibly want in shopping. Ikea, Costco,Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Walmart, pet store, banking, restaurants, coffee cafe's, movie theatre, furniture stores. The only thing about shopping here is you must drive to some of the places, but it is very easy to get to. There is also a hotel that you can stay at , if you are from out of town. It is my favourite place because it has everything. It is very accessible for out of owners or tourists.

Sullivan's Pond

Reviewed By GGodess - Dartmouth, Canada

This tiny pond is a vital link in the historic Shubenacadie / Shubie canal system. The pond us surrounded by lawns and Gardens where man have wedding, graduation or other celebratory photos taken. It has a beautiful bandstand for small Concerts and the pond's Fountain adds more charm to the entire location.
AND there is a cenotaph for Remembrance Day events and it hosts the official ChristmasTree Lighting each winter for Dartmouth.
AND eveyone's delight: this little pond has a tiny island with little shelters for the beautiful white geese 'who' reside on the pond! They are living icons 'who' even use the cross walk to graze in the small park just south of the pond! BTW: summer of '17 a motorist struck / killed two of these charmers and the community was outraged and put up a memorial!

Its a harbour landing and there isn't a whole lot there on weekdays. Some specialty shops and food stores, and some small vendors and a restaurant. Come on a Saturday though, and it really picks up in size, with many more vendors and the farmers market.

Harbour Water Taxi

We used this transportation as a recreational activity and it was just perfect. It was a short limited trip, but just breath taking.
We were on a cruise and needed something to occupy a short period of time with a great view and a chance for tourism as an optimal activity.
This was perfect, a chance to see local goings along with an opportunity to enjoy fresh air, a great local lunch, and a low price. What could be better?

This mall has been in place for decades. Very well maintained and clean. The Bay anchors one end of the mall and my favourite store along with Winners. There are too many stores to list and changes over the years. The top floor has a food court with good selection. Always a parking spot and great if weather isn't good, as you don't need to go outside.
