We had been recommended here by our family who have many chimes. We are so pleased we went. Lola told us all about her chimes and we were enchanted. We got one to bring home to the UK and also a couple as presents. A magical place!

What started out as a humble farm stall, Piggly Wiggly has developed into one of KZN's premier eat-shop-play destinations. Situated on the Highgate Wine Estate in Lions River, Piggly Wiggly Country Village now offers over 25 unique shops and loads of family entertainment including the Biggest Maze in Africa, Piggy Putt (rockventure golf) and soon will see the launch of The Biggest Piggy Bank in the Southern Hemisphere of which all proceeds will go to selected charities. Situated on the ever popular Midlands Meander route, Piggly Wiggly Country Village showcases the finest arts, shopping and entertainment offerings and is ideal for any family, corporate event and club activity.
This is a great place to spend a couple of hours - shopping, eating, relaxing. There is something for everyone here from a chocolate and wine shop to linens and ironwork! Children's play area, a toy train, pizza restaurant, coffee shop. I just shopped and had a coffee. But it was very relaxing just wandering between the shops. Well placed right on the side of the R103.

I am lucky enough to have a collection of Ardmore and have always wanted to visit
which finally a few weeks ago i did on a road trip with my daughter. For me it was completely awe inspiring to see these brilliantly talented artists at work. Fee s charming daughters showed us round the workshops and we loved the museum all the amazing ceramics on display and also the fabulous new Ardmore wallpapers which have been designed together with Cole and Son in London . I have my eye firmly fixed on the monkey design ! Dont miss Ardmore if you are in Natal. We also loved Fee s dogs !!!!!!!!!!

I was very impressed with the small museum at the Capture Site. It had lots of displays and photos about Nelson Mandela and his struggles, as well a biographic story board. The museum was free to enter but asked for donations. It was then a pleasant stroll down to the Capture Site and the monument that has been built.
They are in the process of building a new museum.

ZULU LULU ART HOUSE is home to quality ceramics, fine art and sculpture from top selling artists across our Province and beyond... You can also enjoy a fun time ceramic painting in the Zulu lulu Art Bar
Zulu-lulu Art Bar and gallery is a real gem in the KZN Midlands. It's at the popular Piggly Wiggly and has gorgeous ceramics, many by Trayci Tompkins (including the quirky and iconic Dlamini figurines) plus an art bar and a kids area where the little ones can decorate a ceramic item of their choice (was R70 when I was there). You can either collect it there about a week later, I think, or have it posted or sent to Hillcrest where there is an outlet you can collect from. Trayci is so talented and I loved my visit.

Worth a visit when you are in the Howick area. The dogs are definitely the attraction but it shouldn't take away from the lovely lunch served by an attentive service team. The meals were delicious.
They were even willing to assist with the wheelchair and getting our grandfather in and out of the car.
And life is too short to have bad coffee so make your way there! It offers a great variety.

Great visit to Buffelsbosch.
Ryan is super friendly and knowledgeable. He was very conscious of our skill level and explained everything we needed to know. For first time riders we was nervous but he made myself and my wife and I feel so at ease.
The horses were very healthy and happy and this translated into a great ride. I would definitely come back to experience the horses and expertise again.
Thank you Ryan and Jessica for the amazing morning. I wish we could do it all again.
