Blueberry Hill is set on a hilltop overlooking Nottingham Road with 360 degree views and the most amazing views of the Drakensberg. It is a beautiful property with a highly regarded Lifestyle Gift Shop next door.
Gone downhill since last visit. Poor service. Messed up our order. Limited stock in shop. Looking a bit grubby. Coffee pretty good.

Run personally by Grant and Ann Muir these home cooked meals cater for all tastes from a Steak to a Hamburger to a pasta. Food is prepared by Grant and served by Ann with the help of very polite and friendly African ladies. This is a value for money eatery providing a lovely evening out. Really recommend this place if in the area.
We had a wonderful evening at Black Olive Restaurant! I'm married to a Austrian, love Snitzels and can really testify that my chicken snitzel and my husband's steak was the best we had in a long time!! The service was excellent and the owner, Lance Mostert, gave us a bottle of their 'black olives'.....with a secret ingredient that you will have to taste for yourself! I can strongly recommend the Black Olive Restaurant and would love to come back! Also with safe parking and a very friendly security attendant!

Situated on the pristine St Ives Estate close to the pump track & MTB Park trail head. Relaxed Child friendly BOMA showing all major sporting events on 3 big screens, serving wood oven pizzas, gourmet burgers & wood oven half chickens! Live music on most evenings create a vibey atmosphere along with bon fires lit every night we are open. Extra Large enclosed play gyms for children to enjoy daytime fun with plenty space for ball games and riding bike. Come & enjoy a true Oasis along side the beautiful St Ives Lake with fantastic views of the free roaming game & bird life.
This venue is situated directly across the road from the popular Piggly Wiggly in the Lidgeton/Lions River area, so is very easy to find when meandering along the R103. Set in beautiful and well manicured grounds with a small dam near the restaurant, there is also has plenty of shaded parking. We were greeted and seated immediately by very friendly staff and placed at a table out near the water. The weather was glorious, warm and balmy so we did sit in an uncovered area but there is plenty of covered Seating too. The view across the water and the buck and zebra grazing nearby was also delightful. We ordred pizzas as we wanted something relatively light after come from an olive & cheese tasting, and we certainly were not disappointed. Although we opted for soft drinks and didn't order the craft beers that were on offer, they did appear to be a big hit with all the other patrons there. St Ives is in a lovely setting, with excellent food and good service. Worth popping in

The restaurant is conveniently situated only 8 kms outside of Howick on the Currys Post Road. Approximately 4½ hours from Johannesburg and 1½ hours from Durban. Tastefully decorated yet simply country, this venue is ideal for dining pleasure. The row of glass panelled doors that open out onto the covered veranda echo the buildings stable origins, but inside the ceilings have been raised to give the feeling of great depth and space. Tastefully decorated but remaining true to the country ambience, Tumble Downs has a passion for food and hospitality. The awe-inspiring landscape of the surrounding Kamberg and Karkloof Valley, the unrestricted freedom of its lawns, fine cuisine and true country-style hospitality makes this the ultimate venue.
Yes, it's situated in a lovely location, and has had some great reviews here on Tripadvisor (which I don't doubt at all). But I'm of the opinion that the meal I've chosen to eat should be far superior and 'mysterious' to the one that I can cook at home (and I'm not a great chef) -- after all, that's the thrill of visiting a top-rated restaurant. However the Morrocan curry that I and my partner chose was bland and the beef chewy, in all, most unexciting, disappointing and very expensive. I can only assume, as the title of this review suggests, that it was an off day. Sorry guys.

Highly recommended self-catering serviced accommodation! We stayed at the 2 bedroom unit for a week and a weekend at the large unit that sleeps 7. Both units were very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The owner fully understands the needs of her guests.
It is a perfect spot if you want to spend some time in the Midlands Meander and very convenient for Michaelhouse parents.

A weekend away found us early at the estate for a Saturday lunch on a warm spring day. Ian gave us the highly informative low-down on the estate , it's wines and lucky for him, very little stock as several wines were out of stock.
There is a limited menu for lunch options and the platters looked good to share for a light lunch. We opted for lamb shank and pork belly with a bottle of viognier. The presentation was amazing , sitting outside in the garden/ patio was wonderful and service was excellent. And the food tastes as good as it looked.
Lovely setting for lunch with excellent food, great service and world class wine. Abingdon cannot be faulted and would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

As a visitor to the Midlands, we were referred to the Pizzeria by our accommodation hosts as it was a Tuesday "special" night however when we arrived we were told that unless we had made a reservation they were unable to accommodate us. I am not a bar person so sitting in that area was not an option and as it was cold and raining sitting outside was also not an option. There was certainly enough space inside the restaurant to have places a few more tables for those who are not local and do not know they need to make a reservation. Very disappointed.

Wow this place really has something for everyone. The shopping is interesting as they have all sorts of goodies under one roof. A great butchery, delicious biltong, pies, homemade confectionary, clothing, and all sorts of things for the home and garden. Hard to leave here empty handed.
