We went to the Petit Méjean for lunch at the restaurant Mange-Tout. The restaurant itself is not fancy but the view over the port makes up for it. The service is spot on and the food is good without the fuss. If you enjoy fresh grilled fish, it’s the place to come. There is a free car park around the corner from the restaurant.
After lunch, we walked up the hill and down the other side to the Grand Méjean. It’s a steep climb but not very far. Follow the port around and you will come across a little footpath taking you to a little pebble beach. The cove is not very big and you’ll need to scramble over a couple of rocks to get to it but it’s not too difficult to get to (we managed it with a pushchair). This is my favourite cove…it’s so small & quaint, however you have to be brave to get in the water or wear a diving suit. I also recommend wearing diving shoes if you don’t want to hurt your feet. I didn’t see quite so many fish as the previous calanque but I’m told it was due to the offshore winds…it’s usually a fantastic spot.
Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned due to a huge forest fire that was heading our way. It was a scary experience. I really hope that this little paradise escaped the ravaging flames!

I have been to this park in many occasion and we always enjoy it. There are so many things to do if you have kids or if you don't...
The entrance is free, inside you have some table picnic, so bring your food, bread, sandwiches of even for breakfast, croissant, pain au chocolat and some nice french bread with some coffee. If you are well organized don't forget to bring a table cloth along it will make the experience even better.
Inside you can go for the accrobranches for kids or adults,
there is a merry go round,
there is the pédagogique farm,
the train to visit the park,
the poneys,
lots of nice walk to discover
You will have to pay for most of the activities except for the walk...
Enjoy and try to spend the day there you'll enjoy it.

This year, we spend our summer holiday in the south of France . We found Plongee Passion Carry-le-Rouet a particularly nice diving school.
The owners: Patrick and Marlene and their team do everything to make their guests feel at home. Being the only two Dutch with just a little understanding of the French language was not a problem at all
The diving was excellent organized, they go out 3 times a day.
Depending on the weather they take their fat rib and sail (up to 30 minutes) to exiting location in the neighborhood of Marseille.
Their is a high safety awareness in the team and rules are not bend.
Their rib is big enough to carry 20 divers + 4 staff.
We never experienced this as overcrowded. Most of the divers were experienced diver and allowed to explore the sites by them self. No need to find back the boat.
At the end of the dive you just shoot a inflatable surface signaling buoy and the boat will come to pick you up.
Staff will help you in and out the water and the atmosphere is good.
At the shop there is a dressing room, to put on you suit. The boat is in walking distance from the shop. A truck will take the tanks and weight to the boat (and back)
After the dive there is tea and biscuits to warm up.
We enjoyed it.
Patrick and Marlene thanks

We have been here 5 days and played a lot with our kids at the beach. White sand and on the side huge rocks which offers running opportunities.

Only residents cars are allowed in the village. It's quite a walk down a steep hill and a good few steps from the car park (free).
It's well worth the effort. There's a little pebble beach around the sheltered bay. The warm, Emerald water is lovely to swim in, but shallow enough at the margins for small children to play safely.
There is a magnificent view across the bay to Marseille.
There are a couple of restaurants. We had the best moules I've ever tasted in one of them. Its name escapes me, but its Terrace was across the road from the restaurant.
