We came there because we passed by the restaurant by accident.
The food was good, although we thought it was missing the last 2 % to be 5 points.
The restaurant itself is very nice. The choice of food is limited but suited our tastes.
As mostly in France you can take a menu or chose parts of them. This restaurant offers two categories. Both were good!
The service was very good and would be reason for 5 points in our opinion.
Prices are ok. "Small" menu was 39 and big menu 52€
That us definitely more than ok for what you get

It was the 'frescos' in the corridor to the courtyard that caught our attention as we were passing in the afternoon, so we went back for dinner. What a lovely setting; very theatrical. The food was excellent and the patron/waiter was friendly and attentive. We sat inside - it was April after all - and it was cosy.
We would have gone again if there had been enough days.

Perfect restaurant from start to finish. Outside of some -rare- 3 star restaurant, I have not experienced perfection with that kind of consistency.
Service: attentive, polite, no fuss.
First course: tasty and refined. Loved both starters from the menu with a special mention for the octopus dish. So tender and tasty. Main course of duck was so refined and yet packing a punch of flavours. All this finishing with a great chocolate pudding.
SO loved it.

This is a wonderful little restaurant that my wife and I dined at one lunch while visiting the city of Villeneuve les Avignon. Great food, wonderful staff staffstaff, stafffriendly
Very friendly service and delicious food. Everything was fresh and tasty. From starters to desserts. We enjoyed our family meal of 6. Kids menu is real food not industrial that you can sometimes find in restaurants! Would recommend to anyone that enjoys good food!

One of the best dining experiences we have had. Food was excellent and so was the wine. Restaurant is very well presented/decorated. Waitress was (at least) bi-lingual and great care taken to make sure everything was good without being intrusive. Enjoyed it so much we went back again.
Menu is not extensive but feel that meant you got top quality meals.

Cosy, friendly and rafinated restaurant placed on the central historic square in Villeneuve les Avignon.
We dined one night at Aubergine. Initially it was recommended by our hotel, a day earlier we looked and the menu and venue to confirm the attractiveness.
Being hungry, we arrived at the time of our reservation (highly recommended), sitting inside as it was cool outside. The restaurant is very attractive, particularly the menu which happens to be a large placard which the Waitstaff tows from table to table.
Aubergine is well located on the square, with easily as much outside Seating as inside. The Waitstaff is friendly and helpful and seem to provide a deliberate effort to pace orders going into the kitchen.
My wife enjoyed the prawns and I the La Planche. The wine list is more than acceptable.

We went to this place with a dozen friends and dined under the grape vines on the patio. This was a wonderful meal that we look back on fondly after only a few weeks. If you are in the area, make sure to try this out as it is well worth the trip. If the weather allows for it, make sure to ask for the patio.

This is an excellent small husband-and-wife run restaurant. It is simple and well priced, with excellent food served with a smile by the very friendly owner who told us that her husband does all of the cooking! An amazing achievement considering the excellent quality. My smoked duck with celery salad and rocket starter was delicious, and my main course angus steak was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended.

"Le Petit Gourmand" is a typical french food small restaurant providing home made meals cooked by the Chef close to you as if you were at home. 16 seats inside and double possible outside during the beautiful season (outside Terrace here may be used more than 6 months per year from Easter). We have a special meal called "Secca d'Entrevaux" (thin slices of dried beef with pesto, potatoe in a owen, hot melted cheese and mesclun). Other "must": fresh pastas with truffle, or fresh raviolis with foie gras inside and a few desserts that you may find all in our "Café Gourmand".The rest of the dishes are proposed according to the season.
