Travelers visit the port city of Marseille, the third largest city in France, for the meeting of style and history. The bay, flanked by Fort Saint-Nicolas, and Fort Saint-Jean shelters the Castle of If, from Count of Monte Cristo fame. Watched over by the basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, the city's pedestrian zones and shopping areas (including the colorful French-African quarter) mix with historical sites.Travelers looking for a fun time go to the OK Corral, a cowboy theme amusement park.

A veritable ambience of Marseilles family small small midday, cooks home, small price. In the evening, the Friday and Saturday (or on weekdays on reservation we open has leave 20 place settings) They Eat there: between friends, in family, in lover party-goer, solo, (in any case it does not last) of small check dishes makes home and freshly. They Sing to it: if they want, an impressive directory... They Dance there: or one not much, but music is various and always warm-hearted. One there tchache for the not natives of Marseilles to search a bit it will not hurt you.
We came because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. The food was so tasty, especially the Italian salad (with melon, mixed greens and mozzarella cheese), moussaka, and panna cotta. And Ida was so kind to us. Our favourite restaurant in Marseille so far.

Received such horrible treatment. The food may be good, location great but the atmosphere, ambiance, customer service is lacking. We chose this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews. If this was the last place on earth to get a free morsel, I wouldn't set foot inside.

We had reserved a table for 12 in order to celebrate a birthday: friends & family.
We arrived on time, and were ushered in to our table.
Our waiter was wonderful in detailing the evenings dishes and suggesting the appropriate wine.
After some appetizers and apéro, he came around to take our orders.
Each person had to choose his starter (3 choices), his main dish (3x) and his dessert (3x).
For starters I had a delicious preparation of chickpea & assorted beans with mint, then went on to choose the fish (Loup) (choices: veggies, veal and fish) which was by far the culinary highlight of the evening!
Perfectly seasoned and cooked, it was everything you'd expect from a traditional Mediterranean restaurant!
The dessert (Chocolate fondant) was too choco-intense for me, so I gladly passed on it to focus on coffee afterwards.
Reasonable prices, great food, and perfect service: it's no wonder this place has glowing reviews.
Pleasure, friends, couples.

What a lovely experience... a beautiful little restaurant "in Danish we would have called it HYGGELIG " with some delicious and tasteful French dishes. There are only room for around 16-18 persons so the owner himself act as both chef and waiter.
Best wrapped blue cheese I ever had and the main course local pulled pork dish was as well perfect.
This is perhaps one of the few places left in Marseille with true local atmosphere.

Staff are very polite, welcoming and its defiantly a place worth a second visit and massive recommendations. I've never had a burger quite like this before, perfection.

We have spent the last 5 day’s eating & relaxing in Marseille. Staying at the Hotel Dieu & experiencing several restaurants, high end, street food, authentic traditional & shellfish by the port.
This little place is well worth the good reviews. I’m selective what reviews I write as I’m away to relax & I’m not a travel blogger but I totally get restaurant Dayo.
Simple, tasteful, quality ingredients with modern laidback but passionate service. Very refreshing.

You won't get in unless you book well ahead as it only has about ten tables for two. Although very plainly decorated decorared, this restaurant is simply fabulous. There is no menu to look at. You simply chose between the 90euro, 110euro, or 120 euro price menu; make aware any food allergies or food hates; then sit back and wait for your ten courses of heaven to arrive! We adore food and this place puts everywhere we have eaten out beforein the cold. Even the Fat Duck could not beat it. It will never get more than one Michelin star because of the simple ambiance, but if you love food try and get a table; it is simply outstanding.

100% Homemade food made by the Chef with fresh products
Beautiful food well presented and the taste was amazing. Me and my wife had the Cod and vegetables , I can honestly say I have never tasted mini vegetables with so many exquisite individual flavours on one plate. Well done to the Chef, perfect. The price was very reasonable for such fine quality food. We will definitely be visiting again in the summer.
The 3 course meal for two with water and one drink was under 80 Euro's
Thanks for your polite email Jim.

Came across this new little restaurant completely by accident. We have a marvellous Masterchef-style dinner, beautifully cooked local ingredients, served by friendly staff in a relaxed environment topped off with a pleasantly inexpensive bill. Try it!
