You could spend every day at the beach in Antibes and feel you've had a rewarding trip. But make a point of exploring Antibes' Old Town as well, called by some the cultural heart of the Côte d'Azur. Visit the Musée Picasso for its splendid artwork, sculpture terrace, and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Later, enjoy dozens of restaurants, or take a quick ride into Juan-les-Pins for its lively nightlife.

I started to walk near the Museum Picasso and decided to continue all the way to Juan les Pines. The stroll is just beautiful, comparable to the loveliest ones I did in the Cote d'azur. Just do it !

If you don't know the work of Fernard Leger, this is the place to discover it. A totally civilised museum in a beautiful setting which does all it can to show Leger's progression from post-impressionism through Cubism to tubism.
Suggestions: buy the catalogue and take your time; suggested visit 1hr 45- 2hr. If you are coming from Nice, take the train to Beaulieu-sur-Mer then order an icila ride to the door or take the no 10 bus. For me, it surpasses the Picasso Museum at Antibes.

BeFreeToDive invites you to dive into the submarine world by the means that is most adapted to you: an introduction to scuba diving or snorkeling freely to the surface ! Or even by the most natural means: how about discovering the pleasures of free diving ?The notions of pleasure, discovery and security are at the heart of healthy diving and this is exactly what defines BeFreeToDive’s activities
In the summer of 2016 I participated in a 2-day freediving course led by Jerome. I have some freediving experience already, and in my oppinion the course was very valuable to both new and experienced freedivers. We started with training on land and in the pool, followed by two days of great freediving in the mediteranean that allowed me to reset most of my personal records! I hope that I will get the chance to return. Highly recommended!

At first I was not sure if I wanted to walk all the way out to the edge of the wall to see this sculpture but after I did I was very happy. This is an extraordinary piece of art and worth checking out on your visit to Antibes. The walk along the wall is very historic and interesting as well.

The chapelle is small but a quiet stop. The views from Cannes to Italy are about the best I had seen; has a compass with arrows to find certain locations. The hike starting from Blvd James Wyllie along the sea, through streets up to a a cobblestone path is not well posted . There are biblical creches about the last 3rd so you get some assurance you are on the right path. After getting back down, it was not a bad hike to Juan Les Pins so I put these 2 things together for a good day or afternoon out.

Nice little park in the centre of town with lots of seats in the shade and outlook to the ocean. Has child playground, with carousel and bumper cars for children in the afternoons.
Came here to have breakfast in the shade of the trees only to be greeted by many squirrels. Came back in the afternoon with fruit to feed squirrels and saw children feeding pigeons and nuts to the squirrels also.

Port Vauban in the French Riviera Cote D'Azures pronence Alps Cote D'Azure France is an experience like no other. Really big expensive boats people live on and boats for rent.
We toured the French Riviera on our grand tour of all things Alps. Definitely have to be rich or famous to have a berth here.

Spent a lovely day in Antibes and this was my favourite part.
A gorgeous park which if you put the effort in and walk quite far you get the most breathtaking views.
Wear flats as it can suddenly turn into a 2 hour expedition
Me and my husband found lots of paces to sit and take a break with a soft drink or an ice cream.
Lots of shade if you're worried about the sun,
