For lunch, there are jacket potatoes and a drink or pizzas with a drink for less than £10. The quality is fine. The menu choice is varied and typically Italian. I had an Americano coffee before the meal and, surprisingly, it was possibly catering instant and certainly not filtered. My linguini pescatore turned up as spagetti and was rather expensive at £12.95.

My husband booked up Sunday lunch at the three days as being Mother’s Day I didn’t fancy cooking, we made sure we read all the reviews posted and they were mostly good so we were happy with our decision. We arrived at our booked time no we’re greeted by the very friendly staff and were seated downstairs. It was a set menu for Mother’s Day we decided on the soup for starters which was tomato it was luke warm and tasted terrible! The roast was not fresh the potatoes were so hard and had all been reheated, the meat was tasteless it was the sort of roast dinner you would get at a roadside cafe, not for a Mother’s Day treat! The desert was awful the profiteroles were so pale with no chocolate on them, and all the Deserts had cheap squirty cream, it was no way a great dinner and certainly not a treat, we were very disappointed and I felt it ruined my day a bit, I’ve been told the normal Sunday roasts are good so just think the set menu idea did not work today such a shame and such a waste of money, would definitely not want to go back there or recommend to friends !

Visiting friends in Northfleet and discussed a take away. They'd choose here as used many times.
Put the order in at 7:15 and told to collect at 8pm.
Arrived at just before 8pm to find that it would be another 10 mins. Offered a free drink and to wait. 8:15pm and no sign. Asked again and told a few more mins. Just after 8:20pm the order was brought out.
Not a great start.
Got home and all the items were there.
I'd gone for the chefs recommended Naga Chili curry. Nice and spicy!
Wife's Balti wasn't as she asked for mild, which it was.
All the food was good and tasty.
I've had slightly better at home but was a good meal had by all four of us.
I'd certainly go back.

We love this place! We have brought family from afar here and they always comment on how good the food is. We’ve been to other Indian restaurants in the area but NOTHING compares to this place. Everything we eat is delicious, but the tandoori lamb chops are the best! We find the front of the restaurant best, and always request a table here when we book. Staff are always friendly and accommodating too. Thanks for being our favourite restaurant xx

We were visiting friends and family and staying at the Clarendon hotel a short walk away
Back in the 60s this was one of our favourite places to have Fish and Chips
They say you shouldn’t go back it’s never the same this place is better than then !
We were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered
Do you have Huss.? Or Rock Salmon? I asked expecting a negative
*Yes Sir we do freshly delivered too ‘ came the reply so we took a seat in the nice restaurant area and waited with bated breath
Along came some incredible fish and chips served by a really nice Guy called Jack
My wife was curious about the Gluten Free batter and it was explained how it is cooked in separate oil and kept awY from everything else Huss is an old favourite from our child hood and Jack was able to explain all about its sustainability too
There is a fish for everyone here not just Haddock there’s Cod ,Skate or if you prefer meat pies and so much more all cooked fresh for you including Vegetarian options
If you want something different just ask if they can do it they will
I made the mistake of eating all my chips and all my fish so I didn’t have room for a dessert
It’s a lovely and spotlessly clean place
I noticed there are Special nights too
ABBA and other tribute acts
Just head for Queen Street it’s top of the road
You will not be disappointed
The Reliance Fish Restaurant is not just an ordinary fish Restaurant this place is Top Class
Go and enjoy proper Fish and Chips and the prices are very reasonable too
The Reliance doesn’t need this review it’s a popular place but it deserves it

Welcome to the Toby Carvery Gravesend. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Gravesend’s favourite carvery restaurant. Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including cooked breakfasts and tasty specials.
Popped in on the way back from visiting family graves in London. Staff were lovely. Needed a hot drink as we were freezing and Hannah arrived with them promptly. Food was excellent. My Mum doesn’t get out much and won’t cook roast just for her...MoreThank you for this lovely feedback. We will happily pass on your comments to Hannah who will be overjoyed that you enjoyed your experience

Visited Gravesend today and spotted this lovely café. What a find!! We were lucky and got the last table and I tucked into a delicious quiche with about six different salads and my friend had the home-made carrot and parsnip soup served with a lovely chunk of wholemeal bread. The staff were really friendly and the service was surprisingly quick considering how busy they were. Lunch was finished off with the best coffee I’ve had for ages. Thank you and we can’t wait to visit No 84 again!!

The sesaonal A La Carte Menu & seperate bar menu are available 7 days a week for seatings from 12:00-21:00. Our legendary Sunday Lunch Menu is available every Sunday 12:00-16:00 (A la carte & bar menu also available 12:00-20:00 Sundays). Booking may be essential, especially at weekends. The bar & river Terrace is an inviting place to meet at any time of the day with stunning hand crafted cocktails, locally sourced craft beer and thoughtfully selected wines and spirits.
We were a mixed group in age, cousins, great grandmother to great grandchild 3 months old, some of us are special in our particular needs and mobility. First impressive element was the bar for our pre dinner drink. The atmosphere immediately felt warm, luscious decor and music to set the mood. The staff were all smiley and nothing was too much trouble. It was my 60th birthday celebration with family. Just the day before we had stayed over in a 5 star London Hotel where the breakfast service was staggeringly inadequate, not a smile, no communication. At The Royal Clarendon the staff are obviously trained to a high standard and deliver their guests with a welcoming and cheery service. It didn’t go unnoticed by any of us. Dealing with 17 chatty people, and serving to individual preferences went smoothly. The pace of the meal was perfect. The food pleased everyone. Credits to the team. We will be back. If not all at one go ....!

Very comfortable, authentic family run Italian restaurant and delicatessen.
You will go a long way (possibly to Italy) to find such authentic Italian food cooked and served by Italians. Extensive munu, ( a bit haphazardly set out). Well priced and hearty portions. King prawn starter was enormous. Good steaks and great lobster at reasonable cost. Will definitely be going again. Wines were very good too and well chosen to compliment the food.
The place sits behind an Italian delicatessen so it's easy to miss if you didn't know it was a restaurant too. Easy parking a few yards away in the old market carpark.
