Monet painted Juan-les-Pins. So did Picasso. If they showed up today, they'd find a youthful summer destination that centers on sunbathing (invented by Coco Chanel, some claim), casinos, nightclubs, and staying out late. TripAdvisor members say the one thing "JLP" lacks is restaurants, but neighboring Antibes, a short bus ride away, has more than enough to compensate.
Things to do in Juan-les-Pins

Tucked away on Cap d’Antibes in the quaint town of Juan les Pins, Hotel Belles Rives’ restaurant pays homage to its location with a focus on local seafood. Executive Chef Yoricre Tieche, who was awarded his first star in the 2016 Michelin Guide, serves a signature menu at La Passagere called the «Grand Bleu» which features dishes such as the new “Bouillabaisse from Juan les Pins,” which is served in three courses to represent the stages of diving. The restaurant’s dessert menu will still include a sugar blown dish called the “pearl in blown sugar shell,” the signature dessert from Pastry Chef Steve Moracchini, who was awarded the 2016 Pastry Chef of the Year from Gault & Millau.
Designer Olivier Antoine, known for his work at Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, redesigned the space to include contemporary pieces that speak to the restaurant’s sophisticated, imaginative and airy setting while conserving its Art Deco roots. A Carrara white marble floor with a vibrant mosaic center ushers guests into the main entrance. Magnificent chandeliers illuminate the room filled with art from the 1930’s and hand-painted Bernardaud porcelain plates, featuring scenes from the hotel’s surroundings. Colorful hand-blown glass created by artisans from the nearby city of Biot enhance the warmth of the space, while ceramic rosettes and oversized mirror panels hang from the ceiling, allowing bright colors to ricochet and reflect throughout. Additional design features include a mix of green and blue fabric benches, custom Ruhlmann chairs covered with celadon leather, tall white pillars with intricate hand-painted designs and oversized windows.

Aurelien Vequaud has been appointed Chef of the Michelin starred restaurant La Passagere since mid May. Before joining the Hotel Belles Rives, he used to be Executive Sous-Chef at La Vague d'Or in Saint Tropez (Residence de La Pinede - 3 Michelin Stars, Chef Arnaud Donckele) first and, secondly, Executive Sous-Chef at La Reserve De Beaulieu in Beaulieu-sur-Mer (1 Michelin Star, Chef Yannick Franques, Meilleur Ouvrier de France). Aurelien is proud of his new position and looks forward to present his culinary creations, where he likes to honor the finest Mediterranean products.

The hotel’s Pastry Chef, Steve Moracchini, has been awarded by the same guide in 2016 as Pastry Chef of the Year
La Passegere, the beautiful waterside restaurant at the Belles Rives Hotel, earned a Michelin star in 2017. The new Chef, Aurelien Vequand, has a strong CV with spells at La Pinede in St Tropez and the superb La Reserve at Beaulieu. He started here in mid-May. His style is somewhat minimalistic and monochromatic. The menu described the Blue Lobster in mouthwatering terms - accompanied by figs, grilled leeks and a condiment of redcurrant and grated orange. In practice, these were reduced so that they were barely evident. The main course of guinea-fowl in two servings was similarly understated. The breast was sliced vertically, one slice on either side of the plate. The dish was moist and delicately flavoured, and served with a light sauce, but the promised lemon-thyme and caramelised yellow peach did not come through. An appropriate garnish might have added to the culinary appeal. The second serving of slow-cooked thigh in a consommé was similar in texture and flavour to the first. Usually, the thigh is darker, richer and more dense than the breast which precedes it. The Chef Patissier, Steve Moracchini, was the Gault & Millau award winner in 2016. His chocolate souffle with an ice-cream of roasted pistachios was sublime, a triumphant combination of hot and cold and deep brown and pale green, and with rich and exquisite flavours. The fig dessert was not so successful as some of the textures and flavours had been lost in the elaborate preparation. Pre-dinner champagne included a Bollinger Rose, and a choice between Heidsieck Brut and Louis Roederer Cristal, with prices varying between 30 and 45 euros a glass. The wine list is expensive - the lowest price red Bordeaux was an excellent Ch Larruau from Margaux at 95 euros. The service was expert. The setting is unique and it is reasonable to be charged for it. The total bill came out at 170 euros per head. This is a fine restaurant but under its new team is as yet only average in its sector when compared with others of similar price levels and reputation on the Cote d'Azur.

We ate at this beautiful restaurant twice last week on the recommendation of out Hotel owner. It was, a treat. The young couple who set it up and their daughter after whom this resturant is named, have given this their all. The space is small, maybe Seating 30, but the atmosphere is typically French. The smells are wonderful, the food is beautiful. It should have a Mitchelin star and I have no doubt it soon will - so get there now! We had the a la carte menu which was small ( 3 starters, 4 mains and 2 desserts) but had additional plates which were free and prepared with a deftness of hand and lightness of touch and which added so much to our culinary experience. Our 40th wedding anniversary meal was superb!

It’s rare to find a great restaurant (offering quality food, excellent service and good value) in a prime location - this is one! Directly on the main boulevard / beach road, is this family run restaurant specialising in seafood. The outside looks a little dated and I initially questioned the recommendation we’d been given, however once the food arrived, all doubts melted away. Every dish we ordered was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Definitely recommended.

An original cuisine with flower, full of flavor.
Gourmet menus or dietary changing weekly.
Open every noon and thursday, friday and saturday nights.
Closed sunday and monday.
An unusual experience to have flowers (petals) with food but made the meal exceptionally attractive to look at though I dont think it enhanced any flavours. Attentive staff, quality food, pleasant environment. An ideal place for a special meal though maybe a bit expensive.

‘’No need for pageantry when we have taste’’ Located right between Cap d’Antibes and the Old Town, le 44 Gastronomic restaurant is the new address for a unique tasteful experience. Near by the sea on the main boulevard Albert 1er N°44, Chef Jerome Clavel proposes a modern seasonal cuisine fulfilled of meanings. In love with the French Gastronomy and his home French Riviera, Jerome takes inspirations from his environment to offer a menu that re-interprets flavors. From his mediteranean culture, he keeps this attachment to local products and particularly with the sea products and his creations around Mediterranean fish. Jerome spent years of experience with great chef wich he learnt from the fresh seasonal products love, the mix of flavours and how to elaborate a plate just like an art piece. Le 44 simply is the reflect authenticity
Dining at Le 44 was a last minute decision and it was the highlight of our stay in Antibes. Faultless food and impeccable service, one of the best dinners I can remember. Go there now before it gets Michelin Stars and you can't get a table!

Cuisine with flair and simplicity, terrasse overlooking the Parc Exflora and Juan Les Pins Bay.
This restaurant is near some new flats, amongst a few shops.
It is very much a family business, the cook (lady cook) came out of her kitchen to greet us and advise us on what to eat, she also came to see us after the meal to make sure we were happy.
The service was efficient.
The food was delicious.
When the weather is nice you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view.
Worth a visit; it makes a change from the expensive and mediocre food served on the coast!
I booked a table on the net and got a 20 per cent discount!

It was incredibly good. Incredibly as by the definition:
- good to a great degree that is hard to believe.
It was also relatively cheap and nice staff. We walked past 3 ice cream shops without queue, before waiting a few minutes in queue here. It was worth both the walk and the wait.
As a small detail, there where actually passion fruit seeds in the passion ice cream. I have never tasted any passion ice cream that comes close to this, and I guess it's in part because they use the real fruit when making the ice cream. Loved it!

Genre : Restaurant de cuisine traditionnelleEn bref : Charmant petit resto. Carte variee allant de la viande de race a une variete de plats vegetariens. Excellentes bieres belges, vins au verre et degustation de rhums agricoles martiniquais.
The Vegetarian menu was fantastic. Professional, quite, and romantic ambiance. The chef speaks with all guests and it is clear that no short cuts are taken in the food preparation. The waitresses gave me detailed information about the cheeses that I was served, I'd love to come back with my husband. I highly recommend this restaurant which is not in a busy, tourist street, but rather located in a quite street.

Little pizzeria and snack
Dinned there with my family. Pizzas were delicious, salad was fresh and service was friendly. It was also 70% cheaper than dinning on the beach + we had left over for the next day. They deserve their positive reputation.
