We rented our skis here after it was recommended by our hotel. And we can see why they did! Great selection of top notch equipment but the service is what really impressed us. Tom was professional and took care of us like VIP's. The location was also very convenient to the Gondola and they let us store our boots and skis in a heated shed. Highly recommend and would use their services again and again. Thanks for taking such good care of us Tom!

The place itself is in a peacefull location, facing the Wilde Kaiser mountain. As a ski resort, i can say that it is ideal for those who want to place the kids into the school ski school to learn skiing fast. There are a lot of nice restaurants where to eat between the ski sessions. The view from the top is outstanding, due to the Wilder Kaiser solliness beauty. I will return to this area NexT year.

We have been skiing for 5 years now in Westendorf. This was the first time we have had a private lesson and it definitely wont be the last. His professionalism, relaxed manner and easy to follow advise made a massive difference to our ski experience. The tips he gave to help us made such a difference to our technique. For any ski trips in the future we will definitely be making a booking with him to brush up on any flaws. Best book early though as he is very good and will fill up quickly in season. His English was also fantastic which made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommended no matter how advanced you are.

MARVEL - CONTEMPLATE - COMPREHENDWith more than 60 wet and wonderful stations, the Hexenwasser theme park, meaning Witch Water, offers a natural experience and encourages the whole family to discover and explore - daily from 09.00 am to 5.30 pm.Humming stone, witch’s fireplace, singing water bowl, witch’s stone mill, home of the queen bee, witch’s ladder…these are the mysterious titles, as though in a picture book! Anyone aged 3 to 103 can read this book! The people in charge of each station make sure visitors get to see and experience the fascinating wonders of nature in a fun way. Walking barefoot over rocks and stones, through streams and meadows on the longest barefoot trail is reflexology for your feet and revives the entire body. Watch the bees coming and going in the Bee Theatre, copy the bees’ tail wagging dance or even go into the pitch-black beehive, and you’ll soon be walking on air too!
The Austrians really know how to keep kids entertained, we found loads of great attractions for children and this was the highlight. Situated in a beautiful spot halfway up a mountain it has loads of water-based features and attractions. Our son loved it and we probably walked a good couple of miles without noticing it. It took a couple of hours or so for us to get round and he could easily have stayed longer. Plenty of nice spots to stop for a picnic.

Took two 1-week private ski lessons and got each time an excellent instructor. Managers were very friendly and useful to find an instructor available at the last minute and willing to take us to all pistes possible in the area
The nursery slope is super friendly for beginners with an excellent restaurant right there for people to wait for the students
The whole area is good for beginners and intermediate skiers

Fantastic ski area given the best Downhill Racing is held here on The Streif. We were based in Kitzbuhel and started each day ascending The Hahnenkamm. From there we skied to The Pengelstein, The Wurzhohe and The Reserhohe. The are some beautiful restaurants, snack bars etc.. all over these Mountains and everyone of them offers amazing views and good food. We thought the cost was dearer than other Austrian ski areas but probably justified due to the infrastructure presented in all areas.

For a relatively small hillside town this is a wonderful facility. There is outdoor swimming with diving boards, fun slides and a paddling pool for smaller children. Apart from the water features there is beach volley, a restaurant, a playground plus boat rental.

....take my advice and walk down if the weather is good. It's a fairly quick ride to the top with a reasonably priced restaurant/bar and plenty for children to do in both summer and winter. There is a play area and a lot of activities on offer and the views are spectacular.
We walked down in the August Sunshine and it took us around 2 hours or so. A lovely walk through cool glades with a fantastic restaurant half way down.

Fantastic place to ski as a family. Nice challenging runs with some fast gentle ones thrown in too. There are lots of fast lifts and many which are heated, which is a bonus.
