Extraordinary craft beer(Hophead). With the ordered "ciorba de burta" they brought me an extra "pălincă". Also the music playing in the background is really awesome being far far away from all the commercial music, and can be described as "romanian awesome music".

First off, service... horrendous
Second- What's the point of handing a menu over to me if you don't have almost 90% because you forgot about a local music festival and supposedly didn't order enough food.
Only took me trying to order different items from half the menu before waiter decided to inform me of what they did IN FACT have. Gee- thanks for wasting my time.
I got the only steak that was available and it was sub par. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Indigo is an Indian restaurant located in Cluj-Napoca - the heart of Transylvania. If you are a gourmand Indigo should be on your must visit list. Indian cuisine is as much about hot and spicy food as are its aromatic dishes which are completely non-spicy. If you like your food tasty but not spicy, try the Malai Tikka - cubes of chicken marinated in caju, smantana, cheese, ginger and garlic paste with salt. For those who like it mildly spicy, equivalent to a spicy European-Romanian dish, try the spinach curry with Branza Indian. This is one dish people from Cluj love the most as it is right in the middle of the spiciness scale. The few who like to sweat it out, we have the Vindaloos and Madras curries from the South and West of India. Surely they will leave a lingering taste on your tongue long after you have finished eating them. Whatever be your taste, ask us. We will dish it up to your liking.

Good service, good variety of food, the location is nice (no parking around though)
The prices are a bit high for the portion size, try the Ginger beer!

Via provided an excellent evening meal for a large group (about 14 people) of work colleagues. The room is unique, interesting and comfortable.
Prices are higher compared to most restaurants in Cluj (but not compared to UK prices) but the food was correspondingly very high quality, reflecting the prices. Service was slow, however it was fine for a relaxed sociable dinner. Recommended for a special and memorable occasion.

Yes, it's definitely more expensive than most other places of similar ambiance, but it's worth it. I'm not vegetarian but my GF is, so we came here and I was really shocked at the selection of food and the quality. It isn't just like, "here are some dishes except without the meat" but they're proper creations. Also the photographer for the menu must be amazing. Good stuff, will return.
