Awarded as „Best Steakhouse of Tyrol / TOP 10 Steakhouse of Austria“. Asado's Steakhouse is the premier dining destination in the Kitzbuhel area. Our kitchen team will spoil you with Black Angus beef of Argentina, USDA Prime Beef of Nebraska / USA, Local Dry Aged Beef from Austria and best of the best: Kobe Beef from Japan. The regular exchange with the most popular beef breeders in Argentina and the USA ensures that the high standards in quality and preparation of the noble meat specialties is constantly maintained. The handling of food at Asado's is characterized by great respect. This setting and the "know how" guarantee that each dish is an exceptional culinary taste experience.
We had our dinner at Asado’s on the last night of our ski week. If you like good food, profession service and a nice and cozy ambiance you should definitely go to Asado’s. The food was prepared beautifully and our waiter made sure that everything was perfect. I highly recommended this restaurant!!

We went for NYEs holidays to Kitzbuhel and as part of our holidays we usually visit Michelin star restaurants or Gault Millau, just giving some background so readers can take my review more effectively. I found the décor and ambiance of the restaurant very nice, it's sober and elegant. The plates are really beautiful and changes based on the dishes, which I found a nice cool touch. We had the 7 courses menu. Each dish was delicious, there is a strong focus on innovation, dishes are innovative, fun and delicious! My only negative characteristic was that it felt that they charge for absolutely everything, for instance, the pasta with Tartufo had an additional charge based on the grams of tartufo served, this was the most expensive tartufo of my life and definitely not the best. The same about the water, they could bringing bottles of water non-stop and serving without asking. Great service, but it did not feel right to me and felt that you get surprised by the bill at the end. I have been in many starred restaurant and I have never had this feeling. I do appreciate the good food and the innovative approach from Simon Taxacher, however, it did not give me the feeling to be back there.

Having tracked this down on trip advisor we booked two days in advance through the manager who seemed very helpful. Arrived as expected at 7.30 and got a nicely appointed table. There was one large group at another table. Our waiter arrived and advised that his English wasn't great so we apologies for our poor Austrian and spent some time confirming one tomato soup and one scallop for starter and two beef for main course - one medium well the other very rare. We then asked him for a good Austrian red either Cuvée or Blaufrankisch. He proceeded to look at whites! I pointed this out and we ended up on Italian reds eventually I requested a specific bottle.
Starters arrived, and I'm handed something that isn't scallops, my colleague gets a consume!! 10 mins later my scallops (which were delicious) arrived, and the soup arrives after I'm finished. Luckily at this stage the issue of main course is raised and I discover we are due to have beef and god knows what! This gets resolved with apologies.
Two beef arrive ! The rare one is cold in the middle so was probably cooked from the fridge and the medium to well is rare. We decide to put up and shut up but when the waiter arrived at the end of the meal we show him the steak and ask is this medium-well? to which he says no. We had another fiasco over the wine but it's not worth the hassle of recounting the story. To top it all the Kaisershmaren we were offered wasn't available.
Simply put the waiter was a disaster and the kitchen aren't really on top of the issue. My suggestion is don't bother !

This is a great place to meet friends and have one or two drinks. The food is great too with very generous portions. Lovely inside and out with play equipment for. children. Lots of sunny seats and right next to lift and car park maierlbahn Kirchberg.

This restaurant is in a perfect position, almost half way down the Fleckalm piste
It is a large restaurant with ample Seating outside on the terraces and also in the very traditional and typical Tyrolean style timber interior
We generally stopped here mid mornings for a Hot Chocolate and a delicious Apple Strudel with tasty custard
During our many visits to Kirchberg , we have also had several very delicious meals here , where the service is extremely rapid
Just be warned ! Portions are large so generally it is best to share
An excellent restaurant in a typical Traditional Tyrolean mountain fashion

Didn’t see an outside Terrace, which is unusual in these parts. There is an umbrella bar down the slope a bit - it may be that there isn’t enough flat ground for a Terrace. In a step away from the conventional Tirolean menu, they offer a vegetable strudel with mushroom sauce as a main course - Gemüsestrudel mit champignonsoß - and very good too. So was the Tirolergrostl with salad - Both very tasty, and vaut le detour. Cosy pine decor

This is a noisy, friendly restaurant in the centre of the old town, frequented by locals and tourists. Austrian dishes served in huge portions and own-brewery beer are the attractions. Do not expect to get a quiet table for two; every time we have eaten there we have shared a large table with other diners, always an interesting experience.
Good food and good atmosphere, but, be aware, no credit cards accepted.

Trying to make a last minute reservation for a group of nine during the week of the Streif, World Cup Race is not for the faint-hearted. However, Hildegarde, the owner, was very helpful and we didn't have to leave Kirchberg without enjoying the excellent food from this beautiful place.

For us every ski day in Kirchberg concludes with visit to Sonnleit Stadl. It is the last restaurant on the piste that leads back to Kichberg, I think it's #26. There's always a great party atmosphere especially inside and the food is delicious and inexpensive.

This has become another favourite in the area for us, I'm unsure how long it has operated for in its current format, we first noticed it a couple of years or so ago. The exterior looks traditional but inside is contemporary cool. The adjacent chalets...MoreThank you very much for your rating. We are looking forward to see you next winter again.
