I visited Base Camp Istenbna through a Polish friend recommendation on high rope courses and I must say it was so much fun! Other than the initial fear of height at the beginning, instructor Kuba reassured me that it would be fine. Kuba spent the time...MoreThank you very much for your review! Alpincoaster

In the summer season it is the one of few possibilities for entertainment for the families with kids. To get there you need to hike up or take a cable car to the top station of Dedovka, which means you ned to buy separate tickets for both attractions, one in the start station and another above. During our visit the staff was not very helpful and provided confused information about the ticket prices. I highly recommend to double check the timetable of the cable car, otherwise you will need to wait another half an hour until the cable car staff will allow you to get back to your car. I can understand, that summer season is not the main one, but a little enthusiasm and customer oriented approach would make this experience much nicer. The service was really poor considering, how much money we have spent there. The kids have a good time, but in the end the whole experience was definitely not value for money. We left with the feeling, that they just tried to get as much money from us as possible, but provided very less service in return. I was very unsatisfied.

There's actually nothing to see there and I think that's the point. Serves as an example of what borders should be like - invisible. Accompanied by a local cat, had a very pleasant walk in the area.
