Place is in outskirts area of Ahmedabad, the main court of temple is quite huge and well maintained,
What I love about this place is marbles used and the sunset. It was really pleasant and the silence of that place was giving real peace of mind.

Located inside Ahmedabad city, this place is visited by almost all tourists, including Presidents/Prime Ministers of foreign country. Entry is free, including for camera and parking. In case of rush, vehicles could be parked out at road side. Life of Gandhi is explained well through boards and hoardings. There are different rooms showcasing the life of Gandhi and other freedom fighters. Located at the banks of Sabarmati river, the place gets its scenic beauty even in urban back ground. Washrooms are also maintained well. A visit to Dandi Kutir in Gandhinagar, which is just above 20km from this place will complete your research on Mahatma Gandhi, where there is 1.5 hour shows showing the life of Gandhi at a nominal fee of 20/- per head.

This place is definitely worth visiting. There are some 106 vintage cars from brands like Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Chrysler, Mayback, etc. There are some iconic models as well like the Rolls-Royce Phantom I and the Original 1910 Ford Model-T. The cars have been maintained in great shape. The admission fee is cheap Rs. 50. You can ride one of the 4 vintage cars for Rs. 500 (4 persons). The staff is a bit lazy. There is plenty of parking available. Great 1-2 hour activity. You'll not be disappointed.

My visit to the Hathee Singh Jain Temple was my first experience of the Jain religion. A ceremony was underway at the time. I was impressed at the joy, inclusivity, music and song, and colour. Without understanding what was taking place, my presence was accepted graciously. I saw in tne architecture and beautiful decorations, icons, figures and treasures a focus on humanism. I loved my introduction to Jain. We were passing visitors, not part of a tour. From the gentleman who welcomed us and minded our shoes, to the gentleman who invited us to feasting afterwards, it was a memorable experience. Thank you.

While in Ahmedabad , its quite worthwhile for nature lovers to spend an early morning at the Kankaria Lake have a walk or jog over there. The atmosphere there is serene , pleasant and less crowded as compared to the evenings when it is likely to become quite crowded. A place to refresh, relax and warm up !

Our first visit to a step-well and it did not disappoint. The temperature dropped the closer we got to the bottom of the well. The tree of life carvings were beautiful in addition to the other intricate carvings. On either side of the main steps are narrow, winding stair cases. We started to take them up; however, the bats made us hesitate.
