Sono's high quality food and service provides you with the best Japanese 'fine dining' experience in Brisbane. The atmosphere and interior design is spectacular, it makes you feel like you're in Japan! The service is of the highest standards and can never be faulted.
Most importantly the food is superb. I have dined at Sono Restaurant numerous times, specifically for teppanyaki and the lunch bento boxes.
The teppanyaki joint is ran by experienced and charismatic chefs, an experience filled with lively entertainment and beautiful dishes. The chefs are extremely skilled and can't wait to show off their tricks and cooking style.
The lunch bento boxes are gold! Each stunning dish is a gem of its own with the best of all flavours that complements and represents the diversity in Japanese cuisine. I keep going back for the bento box, there is nothing quite like it and you won't find anything nearly comparable in Brisbane.
10/10 with Sono, I have never had a disappointing experience.

Great service, good ambience, interesting food - we really enjoyed our meal here - from the (essentially) ham for entree, superb gnocchi and very well cooked steak. Highly recommend if you are looking for something apart from the standard 'Qld fare' more often on offer in Brisbane.

We went to Sunday lunch. Great waiting staff. Menu had a a few choices and there were daily specials. We just had main courses only as the Deserts didn't tempt us. Good wine list though a bit pricey for the venue. We were able to park close by which made it an easy deal for all.

The only British Indian Restaurant in Queensland. Serving Bangladeshi inspired Balti cuisine. Famous across the UK & now available in Australia. Our dishes range from extremely mild to the hottest curries in the world. The extensive menu ensures there is something for everyone. A family run restaurant with 30 years experience in the restaurant industry ensures efficient service & the highest quality food.
We have been here before as we love Indian, unfortunately our shared dishes were so full of sauce there wasn't much of the beef or chicken we ordered. Vegetables were almost non existent, not sure if we will chance it again as there are a few nearby we can try

1889 Enoteca is part of the heritage listed Moreton Rubber Works building (circa 1889) located in the antique quarter of Woolloongabba. We have incorporated a restaurant & wine bar along with a basement level cellar for private dining & functions for up to 42 people. We offer traditional Roman fare which is made to be enjoyed in our relaxed but sophisticated setting. Our menu showcases the freshest produce available & the pasta & bread that we offer is and made by our chefs on a daily basis which is testament to our commitment to quality. Our wine list is an encyclopedia of artisan producers with a particular focus on natural winemakers. Natural winemaking involves using indigenous yeasts, minimal (if any) chemicals & little technological intervention. Many of these wines are organic, biodynamic & have been picked personally by the owners who have visited the vineyards. Our wines have a story!
I was totally ignorant of this venue and the quant new Gabba precinct. It really caught me by surprise as I hadn’t been there for many years. My bad...
However, during the week I attended a very special corporate sponsors dinner downstairs in the cellar room and the overall experience, ambience, food and service from the staff was exceptional.
I don’t really want to go in and describe / review all the dishes but if you’ve been any where in Italy before, and you want a similar or Better experience, then make a booking.
My wife loves quality Italian cuisine, so we have already made a booking.
It’s a quality experience.
Very much looking forward to it.
Hope this helps.
Cheers G

Whilst the lady on the front door seemed like it was an inconvenience to have customers, the actual wait staff were lovely. I can't recall our waitress' name, but she provided perfect service and was a delight with our two daiuughters.
The food was good without being spectacular. Probably more expensive than it should be for pasta and pizza. I doubt it will become a regular stop, but it's worth a visit.

This little cafe is hidden in Oxlade drive at New Farm, but it is a fantastic experience. The breakfast is made and served with love and smiles. The staff are fantastic and owners are grounded and lovely people.
I used to work right in front of this cafe and used to be a regular here, shame I work in CBD now, but every now and then make a point to go here for breakfast.
What a lovely little place!!

Every element of the award winning Bacchus restaurant has been designed with indulgence in mind. Head Chef Massimo Speroni's menu showcases a modern outlook on classical dishes and a commitment to quality ingredients and depth of flavour.
Had the breakfast buffet on the second day of a business trip. Fantastic range of options, with the option of made to order eggs. I ordered some poached eggs which came out perfect! Fresh juice, flavoured milk, and made to order coffee available. Plenty of hot dishes to chose from, only minor issue was not a great range of pastries to select from.
Would highly recommend if staying at the Rydges having breakfast here at least one morning.

Found this place whilst driving through the back streets. Glad that we stopped in for breakfast. The omelette was filling and full of flavour whilst the pancakes were accompanied by an assortment of toppings that ensured even the fussiest of small children would find something to eat. Large outdoor area where children could be noisy within disturbing others.
