Go early!!!!! As early as possible. We came back down around 10:30-11ish and the que was unbelievable!! We got up straight away with hardly any waiting around 9:30. The views are amazing but definable wait for a clear day. Definitely look at getting the z ticket if doing a couple of other things in the area, can save lots of money! Building work when we were there however didnt ruin the views.

it's a beautiful lake and you might want to surround it by foot and enjoy the color of the water and also some reflections (when it's not too windy). parking costs 4 Euro per day.

Try the Monster Scooters in Biberwier, Austria for a thrilling ride. More fun than the luge. Biberwier trail is gravel which is much better than paved trails at other places. Chairlift up (two levels) plus ride down takes about one hour. We took our three teenagers and this was a highlight of the 10-day trip. Better for kids than visiting Castles, walled cities, old town squares, museums. Cost for 2 hours is a better value than 1 hour

We did this tour today when it was not so hot. The climb to get to the attraction takes about 1 hour. There you can have a drink before paying your entry fee and then one can walk further uphill over stairs and footpaths along the waterfall between two huge Mountains. Sometimes you walk alongside the water, sometimes through covered corridors carved out of the rocks. It takes about half an hour to arrive at the top and then one can either return the same way or use an even longer route. Not for people with bad feet or legs. It's steep and sometimes difficult although the rating says "easy". Nevertheless when you have 3 hours and a good condition, it's a must-do activity.

Just couldn't do it . So let me explain, I am afraid of heights and when I got there and realized that the bridge did move and ya it was definitely high I bowed out. My friend went and loved the views. My understanding is that is the longest suspension bridge in Austria. It was a great walk in the forest to get there. Yes it is up hill but the path is paved. Someone traveling with us has back and leg issues and was able to do the walk. You also have the opportunity to go to the Ehrenberg castle ruins which have a wonderful 360 view of your surrounding. Mountains and a village below. We could actually hear Bavarian music playing from the town. Again me and my heights there were a few freaky spots for me . I really enjoyed this stop. We did not do the museum that was also there by the parking area in the valley. For hiking lovers they do have a few trails you can take.

During our stay in Lermoor we visited the climbing crag nearby at Bichlbach. It is located next to a little fun and entertainmanet park where kids can have a swim and fun all day long. The couple, which is running the place is very nice. The trails are divided in various sections form easy to moderate. In comparison to other trails I have done, this one is not to difficult - even the blue one, which is supposed to be the most difficult. A brave 8 year old can even handle this one whit now problems. A nice one it that you have 3 little flying foxes. Due to the difficulty level this one is suitable for familys...

This golf course is maturing very nicely - 18-holes, Par 72, 6550 metres and oozing spectacular panoramas and views in all directions. The Mieminger Plateau golf course was upgraded to a proper Championship course in August 2008 and provides a good and fair challenge to golfers of all levels. It is now one of the best 'tracks' in Tirol and one of the longest in Austria. It's also pretty hilly so it's worth taking a buggy to conserve the energy.
The golf course was designed by Keith Preston and boasts a varied 18 holes and is linked to the next door Hotel Schwarz and set in a beautiful pine forest. The mild and sunny climate of the Mieminger Plateau allows a long Alpine golf season from late March to late November. There's a lovely mountain hut at the highest point of the course where you can get a snack and a thirst quenching beer before heading downhill for the back nine. The classy "Greenvieh" clubhouse is a great place to relax over good food and wine after the game too.

What I wanted to say... If you have chosen your relaxation...MoreMany thanks for your positive review. It was a pleasure to us to fly with you and your daughter. We wish you all the best - FlyTeam
