Really enjoyed our dinner here. The tastiest pizza I have had - and probably the biggest! Our party of 6 were made very welcome and the drinks arrived swiftly - always a good sign and our dinner choices were also very quick . Friendly service. Happy to recommend.

I guess I am lucky that I live only few hundred meters away from this nice small restaurant and winery. I've never get bored with their food because they always have something new in their menus seasonally. No matter spring, summer, fall or winter, I'm always surprised to find and taste the new culinary creation of the Chefs.
It is a little bit difficult for tourists to get to this place, since it's unreachable using public transport. But especially in summer, it's worth a visit.

Huge portions in friendly local just off the Danube cycle way and by the Essl art museum. Cheap and cheerful even if not of highest quality.

The restaurant is located right next to and with a very good view at, the Danube River. They server typical Austrian food prepared in a very elegant way and have a large selection of very good wines from the region. The staff is very friendly and everything is very reasonable priced

The heuriger is located in Klosterneuburg. It was a little tricky to find for non-locals, located along a narrow one way street. Upon entering you are faced with an amazing garden, with many trees and flowers, and tables located amongst them. Staff are super friendly, some English. The wine was excellent, the food was ordered from a small inside buffet, which was brought out. Excellent selection of home made salads and traditional hot Austrian dishes. Food quality was excellent. Very inexpensive too. Highly recommended.

I am a greek and visited twice this place with Greek friends who live in Klosterneuburg. The staff welcomed us as friends. The way of cooking is 100% greek and the ingredients used very fresh and tasty. We had lamb with pasta ( excellent) , mixed grill, fish and excellent dessert. Everything perfect. Depending on the day, you must make Reservations. Highly recommended

an der Donau bei der Rollfaehre
Right at the little ferry crossing, this cafe serves up a delicious fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil on fresh bread, along with a decent kasekrainer and passable curry wurst. But it's really about the middle-of-nowhere locale and cool relaxed vibe. Relax for half an hour after the bike ride from Vienna, take the ferry across (2.80 euros for adults) and either bike back down to Vienna along the Donau Insel or head another 7k to Kreuzenstein Castle. Another great way to spend a day when in Vienna!

We have found this place by chance. The atmosphere is great. Typical Austrian food with an edge. Friendly service. we recommend the ribs. We will come again to sit in the beautiful garden. It is a must if you are in this area.
