We made a great trip from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. First we visited a tea factory and got a guided tour through the producing process, then we took the train, starting near by in Nanu Oya to Ella. Great scenery with tea estates, Waterfalls, beautifull Mountains and lovely small villages. On arrival in Ella our tour guide was there to pick us up and he made a 2 hours hiking to little adams peak. Back by bus to Nuwara Eliya. Everything well organize, great nature and history knowledge of our guide, who didn't get tired to answer questions. Easy booking, good price.

Sri Lanka Karting Circuit

The largest go-kart circuit in Sri Lanka, it comprises a 571-metre rental track and a 171-metre kiddies' rental track, designed and built to international safety specifications. Other leisure activities include: swimming pool, air rifle range, gaming zone, basketball court, pool table and restaurant.

Reviewed By Thilina G - Colombo, Sri Lanka

This is the best go Karting track you get in Sri Lanka. It is around 0.5km in total distance. Place is well maintained and they keep track of your progress as well.
First time you will be issued a card which will be like an identification card for you. And all your progress will be recorded in this.
Karts are maintained in good conditions and also you get shoes, shower caps, gloves and helmets. Shoes are a bit worn out so consider carrying your own shoes.
Track is quite awesome; you get elbow bends, 180s and straight drives. Weekend prices are a bit higher than weekday prices. From time to time they have offers for Arpico loyalty cards. So checkout for those as well.
On busy days you will have to wait for awhile until you get your turn. So consider carrying your swimsuits for a quick swim or try rifle shooting there. They also have a gaming centre and a pool table.

We just returned from a memorable two week trip in Sri Lanka, and would highly recommend Off 2 Sri Lanka for service that is friendly, professional and organised. We worked on our itinerary with Mr. Menaka who also recommended hotels within our budget. While we were on our trip, Mr. Menaka called to check in on us and wish us a great trip.
Our driver Tissa picked us up from Mirissa and we proceeded to visit Tangalla-Hatton-Kandy-Pollonaruwa-Sigiriya-Dambulla and Negombo. Tissa was a gentleman, extremely friendly, thoughtful and knowledgable. He gave us some great tips for local and authentic restaurants, and suggested some great stops to try local curd, quality cashews and tea.
Our trip was seamless- we saw more than what we had planned and had such a wonderful experience overall. Would highly recommend Off 2 Sri Lanka and our driver Tissa, and hope we'll make it back to Sri Lanka again!

We hired Thilak for 6 days driving us around in Sri Lanka. We never had any unsafe feeling during the trip whilst the traffic can be crazy in Sri Lanka. When needed Thilak provided invaluable suggestions what to visit within our schedule. I personally liked that he is a quite person that gives us all the privacy we needed during our trip but could provide all the necessary information as guide when we asked about. Very honest person and helped us out during our trip. The perfect driver for vacation trip or business trip in Sri Lanka.

I can still remember our first encounter with Eranda and Sri Lanka tour guides. We just arrived at the airport in Colombo after a long journey from the Netherlands. Our suitcases were missing so we didn't have a lot of stuff with us. Eranda was waiting for us and after a couple of minutes our journey in Sri Lanka started. We wanted to go straight to Anaradapura. A five hour drive from Colombo. Because we wanted something to drink and eat during the drive, we needed to get money from an ATM. Unfortunately this didn't work. This was no problem Eranda paid for food and drinks. In the beginning I felt a bit sketchy but this friendly guy wanted us to have the best experience anyone can have in Sri Lanka. After an unlucky start this was a warm welcome. The next morning he picked up our suitcases and before we woke up they were already in the hotel. The whole three weeks he guided us through Sri Lanka. Eranda has a lot of knowledge of the history, knows local guides, good places to eat and where to sleep. It was a unforgettable experience and wouldn't be the same without Eranda's services. Thanks Eranda :)

Sri Lanka is becoming a major spot for watching Whales & Dolphins; The Deep South of Sri Lanka may be one of the world's best locations (amongst the top two or three) for watching Blue Whales and Sperm Whales, two of the most sought after marine mammals. For seeing both Sperm whales and Blue Whales living together, in fact Sri Lanka may even turn out to be the best location in the world.

Reviewed By Max J - Colombo, Sri Lanka

The mansion had been built by a wealthy individual in the early 1900s copying an Indian palace, for him and his bride to move into after their sumptious wedding attended even by the colonial British Governor at the time. When they died childless the mansion was given over to the Public Trustee of the Government of Sri Lanka to run a home for destitute male children. As most things that are run by the Govt of Sri Lanka this too is not an exception. The place is poorly maintained and at places the ceiling was cracked and the paint on the walls peeling off. The photographs of the couple and their lavish wedding are very interesting and give us a peek into the lives of the super rich local people during the British occupation of the Island.
