This restaurant was one of the most pleasant surprises on our recent stay in this area.
The setting in the garden is beautiful and the food was spectacular. Dining here is not cheap but then again everywhere you dine in Switzerland is expensive especially when using Canadian dollars! However, for the little bit more you spend at this restaurant, you get a lot better food and we felt it was worth the splurge.
The pea soup was delicious as a starter. I had the rack of lamb in Pinot Noir sauce which was outstanding.
Would highly recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience.

We are great fans of La Padella in Samedan. We think Frau Rita is such a great server and she really makes the experience even more worth while. The food is traditional Grissons food and very well prepared. The restaurant is tastefully decorated.
The sabayon is made at your table and is one of the best I have ever had.
Very much recommended.

This 500 year old building is one of the prettiest in Switzerland. It is even used by the Swiss tourist board for their advertisement at Zurich airport. So great ambience!
The food is a mix of international and excellent local dishes with a winelist with the best Swiss and Italian wines.
Friendly service. Altogether highly recommended. We just wish we had stayed in the hotel the restaurant belongs to.

It is a small and quiet cafè in the lovely town of Zuoz. It is a perfect place for an afternoon tea after an hiking tour in the mountain area. Coffee, tea and other pastries (sacher torte and apple strudel) were awesome. Highly recommended !!

We had dinner there last night with a group of seven. What a great place! A true gem and authentic engadiner place! It has so many nooks and crannies where they squared away some tables, they even have a floor where one has to climb a ladder to get to your table, and so does the staff to bring your food! The main dining room is airy, homey with lots of antiques without giving it an overstuffed feeling and the tables are set in beautiful lilac colors to offset the darkness of the building. A very charming place. And on top of that; the food was delicious, everybody at our table ordered something else and was happy with their choice! Will definitely return here on my next visit!

Restorant Uondas Home aged Engadine “madüra” meat from the lava stone grill, homemade “Flammekuchen” from the wood fired stove, genuine Grison pasta dishes and the vanilla soft ice cream, prepared with our secret recipe, create culinary waves.
We went to Restaurant Uondas for a special occasion meal. The waitress did a great job of explaining the dishes with the local produce on offer including the amazing aged meat. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It's a treat eat, not a family value option. (Our 13 year old didn't appreciate it as much as we did.)

The funicular railway ride up at the lower cost rate after 6 in the evening ( 15 SFr return ) started an evening dinner to remember . The highlight was the magnificent views over the Upper Engadine lakes and Mountains . The restaurant had reserved a lovely view facing table for our group of 6 . The food was excellent , from anise bouche to starters to mains , with a comprehensive wine list and sweets to turn the head . the service was efficient , especially the friendly lady to who greeted us and kept an eye on how we were doing all evening . Overall this was outstanding in every way . However it will not be a regular visit for us because of the price which is at the higher end of ( expensive ) Swiss restaurant prices ( with little wine around SFr 80 pp ) . For a special treat this comes highly recommended . Don't go in cloudy weather though as the view is a main attraction .

Kochendörfer's has been awarded the "Golden Fish" and offers something for everyone. In the afternoon, we serve coffee and cake, while in the evening and at lunchtime you can enjoy delicious, market-fresh dishes from our kitchen.
We had our annual "house" diner at this "modern" decorated restaurant. We were served with utmost attention to details the quality of the dishes were very good, large salads, two servings of the Sole dish. We enjoyed our dinner and can recommend this restaurant for your next visit

What a wonderful surprise, I hardly eat in restaurant because of my celiac disease, on my travel I usually check tripadvisor for gluten free restaurant in whatever place I am going to be, I am spending a couple of days in St Moritz and went to eat at Stüvas Rosatsch following already excellent reviews. Well it was just great, they have a gluten free menu and bread, and the helper knew exactly what to do and suggest. It was delicious, And my friends loved their regular food as well. Finally, a real treat for myself.
