An excellent restaurant a short distance outside the ski resort of Flaine. Free transport in winter season. Pizzas Delivery. Local specialities and gastronomic food . Amazing cocktails and excellent wine list. Pleasant service friendly staff. Open on winter and summer seasons
Went there as a couple for our final night and it didn't disappoint. Began with drinks, sat on sheepskins by the big, open fire with complementary nibbles. Moved on to a traditional racelette melted on embers. Food was delicious and well presented. Atmosphere was great. Didn't have desert as we were full. Not a cheap night but great value for what we got. Thoroughly recommended.

Chalet Offering Great Meals On The Skislopes, Worth A Review!
Firstly the staff are very friendly . The food are excellent and good selection too . We have been to this restaurant few times .However is advisable to book before hand because it is very busy . We tend to go there around 12 noon which then have a better chance of getting a table without booking .Highly recommended .

Savoyard cuisine, traditional kitchen French and homemade pizza cooked in wood. Wooden ambiance, mountain, warm welcome, affordable prices and very tasty cuisine! CHANGE OF MANAGER novembre 2016
We ate here as a group on our chalet host's day off on their recommendation. We had a superb dinner, pizza, tartiflettes and fab ice cream and creme brulee Deserts. Don't worry about the lack of websites and info in Les carroz for restaurants they are all good.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant on the slopes since I was a child and it was just a wooden cabin serving excellent steak frites. The years have passed and the building has changed & expanded and probably the ownership. It’s still very busy and popular. Menu is typical of the region with very tasty and copious salads and savoyarde specialities. I’ve got happy memories of sitting outside on the lovely terrasse in the warm spring Sunshine and enjoying their tasty home made lasagna & pommes frites washed down with a lovely artisanal cider. Every time I come skiing I always head to this place as it has a special place in my heart. These days sometimes you have to book to be guaranteed a table. I haven’t been in the summer but it looks lovely. When it is cold and snowy it is lovely to sit close to the log burner. It’s just hard to get back on the slopes and not linger in the warmth! Staff are very pleasant and friendly.

When in the Mountains, do as the Mountains do.
In many years of skiing I’ve enjoyed many alpine meals; the raclettes, the hot stones, you know the score.
But Le Michet makes it truly special. Excellent service (Stephane looked after us very well!) and amazing food with little flourishes that really made the food stand out from the pack.
It’s a short walk across the piste from the main resort so no excuses not to spend a great evening here during your stay.
And the beef rib is frankly ridiculous.

We have eaten at this father/son run restaurant on countless occasions over the past 5 years - lunch, dinner, the lot. Father and son are just amazing; great hosts and very professional. The kitchen is superb; just what you want on the hill; great food, great prices; fabulous hospitality......until today that is. There are two females running the 'inside' eating experience and they are rude, inadequate, inattentive and frankly not great for business. Other people on tables around us were asking for 'where's my beer' is my food coming' and the responses we overheard included 'listen mate, there's only one of me and lots of you so just wait and it will be here.' Our two salads took 35 minutes to arrive and in the meantime tables of hot food ordered after ours were served and cleared, and moved onto desert. We asked if there was a problem with our order and got the same treatment as the guy missing a beer.
STAFF TRAINING REQUIRED. BASIC COURTESIES ARE ALL THAT"S REQUIRED

Gourmet restaurant, fine and varied cooking, friendliness and cosy atmosphere. Terrace from May to September. Open from September to June.
We were here for evening meal. Ate three different dishes and all were superb - both food and presentation. Service was attentive without being interfering.
Only mistake (possibly on our part) was we were offered a shared starters plate as one of the main meals would take so long to cook and we were under the impression this was free - actually charged 17 euro on bill.
As in all restaurants in Les Carroz wines are overpriced - including the local Savoie wines.

What a cute little place just near the lifts. Considering the place was full and only one person was covering the floor, the service was fantastic and the food was superb and was great value. I have to say It was a little chilly though, would be nice if there were some heaters
