All Saints’ Tudeley is the only church in the world* to have all its twelve windows decorated by the great Russian artist Marc Chagall. The east window at Tudeley is a memorial tribute to Sarah d'Avigdor-Goldsmid who died aged just 21 in a sailing accident off Rye. Sarah was the daughter of Sir Henry and Lady d'Avigdor-Goldsmid; the family then lived at the fine Jacobean house Somerhill which is situated nearby.
A beautiful, small church setting as a perfect backdrop for the stunning Chagall stained glass windows. The simplicity of the church itself works so well with the intense colours used by Chagall. Exquisite.
Its a great place for a gentle visit, either as part of a walk through lovely countryside or on a side trip to sample one of several excellent Kent pubs in the immediate neighbourhood.
Never could work out how Bill Wyman was a friend of Chagall's though!

Situated in a very nice old little village, not far from Tonbridge, this very tall buiding produces a most unusual impression towering above idyllic green fields of the rural English countryside. Its meaning is not quite clear, the acritectural structure looks very elegant and un-english. A nice tranquil walk around.

14th century, mote created and then the house developed through history.
An amazing place to visit, in the middle of the Kent countryside where the usual excellent NT facilities.
We had the very informative taster tour and then explored the house/mote and gardens- fine photographic opportunity.
What a privilege to visit on a grey mid-March day.
Wonderful volunteers providing that extra mile of information.

It's a little bit like walking back in time, into a small, dark venue that is a little rough around the edges but this is absolutely perfect for a lot of the music showcased here. Great covers bands, Punk, Country/Folk Rock and some big names too.
Capacity for only 250 people makes this an intimate venue allowing you to be up close to the music.

Discover the beauty and tranquillity of this enchanting historic family home and Gardens, once the property of Henry VIII. With a unique medieval Baron's Hall, staterooms, and intimate walled Tudor Gardens, that have colour and variety throughout the seasons. Penshurst Place is great for a family day out, with a large wooden Adventure Playground, Toy Museum, Woodland Trail, Garden Restaurant, Porcupine Pantry Coffee Shop, a Gift Shop (open all year) and an events calendar full of entertainment.
Astonishing internal decor. This manor house was built in the fortieth century for a London merchant, and four-times Lord Mayor of London, who wanted a country residence within easy distance of London.

Firstly, a massive thank you to Ryan from Sky birds of prey, who made our family experience day absolutely first class. Can absolutely guarantee that anyone who wants to book a falconry experience will have the most amazing time here.
I booked this for my daughter's birthday after seeing their display recently, and we went with 4 young children, all under 12.
Ryan was a fantastic host, great with the kids (and adults!) and made the day.
We flew 7 different birds across the day, all of which were stunning, learned a great deal and we all had the most brilliant time.
Lunch was provided as part of the day and they are an incredibly friendly team.
Thanks again, everyone had the best time!

Hever Castle was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the intriguing second wife of Henry VIII and mother of Elizabeth I. The castle is a romantic double moated 13th-century castle which houses historic 16th-century portraits, paintings, furniture, tapestries and treasures. Comprehensive information on the history of Hever Castle can be found in the guide book and audio tours are available from the Hever Shop, Visitor Centre or castle entrance. Visitors can explore the magnificent Gardens for all seasons which include Italian, Rose and Tudor Gardens, topiary, yew maze and splashing water maze, or take a stroll around the informal areas of Sunday Walk and Anne Boleyn's Walk. Hever hosts a number of special events throughout the season including gardening events with the head gardener and his team. Family fun includes jousting tournaments each summer, one of our most popular events.
Our first visit to Hever. Was impressed with the grounds. They were well maintained. The house and contents were impressive and the staff on hand were excellent. Hope to visit again

Lovely day out with friends/family or both. Lovely maintained walk round the lake and areas to feed the ducks and birds. There are great walks which lead off from the main path, with lots of exploring to be done. There is also a dedicated children's play area.
The cafe shack, does great hot drinks which are perfect for this time of the year to warm up after your walk or cycle. They cakes are amazing and I believe the also do hot food, with one friend goes for the bacon butties!
Great day out.

The 8 acres of garden are formed around a 100 metre long double mixed border backed with clipped Yew hedges and columnar Oak trees. From the border run two grass avenues lined with clipped hedges. Hanging from this structure are a variety of large and small contemporary and traditional Gardens designed and built by students of Hadlow College. Throughout the Gardens there is an extensive range of unusual plants and collections, in addition to more familiar plants used in unconventional ways.
Situated in the grounds of Hadlow College and easy to find on the main road through Hadlow village the garden centre is small but the plants on sale are of very good quality. We received excellent advice from the lady working there and were very happy with our purchases.
There is also a tea room and extensive Gardens to stroll around and enjoy.
