Just spent a fantastic NYE with friends at the Old Bakery. Restaurant looked beautiful when we arrived with a truly welcoming ambience. Every course of dinner was delicious, with a set menu of Mediterranean, tapas style dishes and a delicious pork main course. The service was friendly, welcoming and efficient throughout the whole evening. We couldn’t have enjoyed our evening more. Thank you .... and happy new year!

Welcome to the Millbrook Inn – gloriously situated in the charming village of South Pool, Devon. A place to discover and enjoy great, honest cooking in an atmosphere that celebrates why villages need pubs and pubs need villages. Take a look around and see what makes the Millbrook Inn one of the most popular dining and social destinations in the area.
This must be one of the finest if not the finest village pub in South Devon.l had lamb which was the best lamb l have ever tasted. My family had the roast beef and thoroughly enjoyed it.There were only two staff serving in the pub a young man behind the bar and the most remarkable young lady serving the food, the two of them working together was a joy to watch. There were no empty seats in the pub but nobody was left waiting to be served. You really had to see it to believe it,truly remarkable.

The Victoria Inn has been run by Tim & Liz Hore since 2008. We pride ourselves on being a 'Traditional Pub, with Traditional Values'. It has this year (2014) been awarded the Taste of the West Gold Award - awarded for locality of produce used, ambiance and high standards of service. We are the only pub in the South Hams to hold this prestigious award. National finalists In Licensee of the Year, finalists in Devon Life Family Friendly Dining Establishment as well as previous Fish & Chip award finalists. We welcome children with their own menu selection of home cooked food and dogs with their own Al a Bark menu! Bookings to eat with us are advised as we get extremely busy and hate to disappoint customers.
This is one of the very few places in Salcombe that offers vegan options. I had a delicious pasta dish with walnut pesto. The starters were yummy too.
The service was exceptional - all of the staff were super friendly and really looked after us and our dogs - they were showered with fuss. There's even a doggy menu. Our dogs lapped up the doggy beer... literally!
I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely go again when next in Salcombe.
My only wish would be to offer a vegan dessert which wasn't sorbet... everything else - spot on.

A local independent lifestyle coffee shop in the heart of Kingsbridge - perfect for people watching! Serving great coffee and yummy cakes, sandwiches & panini's, using tasty local produce where possible. Complete with comfy sofa's, magazines, internet access and free wifi, Coasters is the perfect place to while away an hour or so.
Popped in to coasters as it was opposite costas so felt it was helping the independent sector. Had a very good filter from Ethiopia roasted by climpson.
What I liked was the staff giving me that taste list which was novel for me and made a difference.
Enjoyed the experience.

The CRABSHELL INN is gloriously situated on the quayside in Kingsbridge and with its south westerly aspect basks in the sun all day. The Crabshell is gaining a fine reputation as an eatery of distinction with an increasingly acclaimed menu. The Inn is “child friendly” and children of all ages are very welcome…
What a lovely location, building. It wasn't a good day for staff as new technology so had to go several places to get different item or pay for them in different places. The pizza menu was to die for, it read delicious. I opted for the Spinach and Egg reminiscing to fab Yeti Pizzas Argentiere, days gone by. Sadly not. it was like a Dr Oetker Margarita with an egg and 4 spinach leaves the size of basil leaves - the basil leaves would have given it more flavour. Tried to liven it up with some chilli oil, very fragrant but no kick. V disappointed. Would like to go again and try maybe the deli but will check out what everyone else is eating first.

Our 14th Century Inn is steeped in tradition and is a short walk from the Surfing beach of Bantham.
Really enjoyable evening at this lovely inn. Enjoyed some excellent sea food and had to try a couple of their large gin selection. The very best thing about the place however is the service which is prompt and really friendly. Wonderful atmosphere and a really lovely setting. Had a great time and intend to be going back a lot!

The Creeks End Inn is a restaurant and bar fantastically located in the heart of Kingsbridge. More affectionately know as The Creeks, we are situated on the towns' main square and at the head of the Kingsbridge - Salcombe Estuary. There is plenty of parking nearby with the main carpark of the town running alongside the Estuary.Enjoy a glass of wine or a pint of local ale on one of our many outside benches, sample our menu cooked with the freshest of local produce or simply sample our delicious Italian coffee while watching the world pass by. Our takeway serves tradtitional fish & chips and our ice cream parlour luxury ice cream from Moorland Meadow.By night, The Creeks comes alive with live music every weekend and hosting many midweek events such as our ever popular monthly 'Open Mic' nights.
We regularly use the Creeks End for a quick pint or a snack, we ate there on Saturday afternoon, I had a specials board liver bacon and onions, this was absolutely beautiful food which we fully enjoyed.
