We were there last winter and had a wonderful menu, the waiter has very attentive and friendly. The wine list was exceptional with a tremendous selection of local wine, with rare sorts of wines from the area. The owner drove us back to our hotel in Fiesch, when that is not great service, then I don't know what that is.

I went with 5 friends of mine on a Saturday night. The restaurant was not full but just busy, and we found the service extremely slow.
The dining room decoration is not nice at all: very oldfashion, 1970's style.
There is a nice list of local dishes, prices are not cheap, just average.
As it was during the summer, the dining room was not air conditioned and there was no air at all: it was far too hot for having a nice dinner. If you can sit outside it will be much nicer.
I advise the risotto with local ham, very nice.

We got there too late in the day to sit on the Terrace, but it's a lovely spot to enjoy the valley and stream that flows by.
The hostess suffered with my German until it became apparent that her English was better than my German. Food was very good. Several backpackers stopped in for a bite and obviously some locals support the bar.
Very informal but not too rustic. Just the kind of place we like.

We purchased an one day package deal ("herbstsonne") for the cable cars and lifts to explore the Mountains and the views across the Aletsch glacier. At Bettmerhorn we ate lunch deals included in the package. An excellent sausage and potato dish was offered for the carnivore and the vegetarian was served "cholera" which is a tasty cheese and potato pie with salad. There were simple desserts too. Not surprisingly the meal was overshadowed by the view. The sun was shining and the entire Alpine range from Mont Blanc via the Matterhorn to the Monte Rosa and beyond was clearly visible. Service at the cafeteria was fine. Recommended!

located in the beautifully preserved village of Ernen, this hotel is a
unassuming, yet very comfortable. The rooms are nicely furnished in the local atmosphere, very clean and generally very well oriented. Breakfast is plentiful with fresh and home made products.
Moreover, the restaurant offers a correct choice of meals and the people in the service are smiling and ready to help.
And the prices are quite reasonable, too-

Enjoyed a delicious, hot, fresh lunch today at this lovely restaurant. We had the bratwurst and rosti dish and a gulasch soup! Wow! Scrumptious, filling lunch before we hit the slopes- friendly service and our waiter spoke English! Bathrooms are ridiculously clean- even a changing area for babies in the women's bathroom with pampers and wet wipes--first I've seen thats!
Saw many customers order schnitzel and cordon bleu---looked divine! If I ever get back here... I will definitely try it!

Typical swiss restaurant in the alp resorts. Was ther in off season and this was the only restaurant which seemed busy. Food was good as was the service. Prices were comparable to other similar restaurants I have visited.

Ate at this restaurant by the station on our second evening in Fiesch and very much enjoyed it. The dining room was quite smart, with attractively laid tables and bright red napkins. The waiter was very helpful and managed to cater for our dietary needs, despite his English being little better than our German. It has an emphasis on local specialities, including an interesting vegetarian “pie”. We had one of the most enjoyable meals of our fortnight’s holiday and it was no more expensive than others. We preferred both its ambiance and food to the Fiescherhof’s Italian restaurant the previous evening.

I must say some of the best dining experience ever. The restaurant really deserves the gault millau rating. We went there with very high expectation that was even surpassed. The food was excellent and decorated with lots of passion and love. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant very nice. When looking from the outside you would nevery expect such a fantastic dining place. The place is obvioulsy not cheap but we were positvely surprised when we got the bill, the price/value ratio it really good.

We were guests at Hotel Fiescherhof so it was convenient to eat here. To start we had a pizza which we all enjoyed. Everyone had pastas which were all fine. The menu stated that the Italian wines served are all carefully chosen. Indeed, the red wine that we had was very good.
When it was time to pay, we asked that the bill be added to our hotel bill. We were told that the restaurant is separate from the hotel, and we had to pay for dinner right then and there. This was fine with us.
Many locals eat here. It is definitely a popular eating place. Dinner time was the only time that the parking area became full.
