Had the scallops starter which was delicious and different fish options as mains. Good sized portions and we could not manage a sweet but sat and savoured the view for an hour or so over a glass of wine - the restaurant is by the sea and one looks over the lights of the bay as well as catching sight of the liners coming from And going to
Bridgetown. Service is efficient and
Friendly.

We had a business lunch in this place and one of the best things of this restaurant is the marvelous location besides the beach. At noon, you are surrounded by the turquoise transparent water and craddled by the noise of the waves on the side.
The food is very good and reasonable by Barbados standards. It is a sophisticated version of bajan food plus international. Service was very good and they managed to give quick service to a large party

Serving breakfast and lunch, lattes, cappuccinos and delicious smoothies..Try our full English breakfast..Yumm!!
That has to tell you something. The food is really good. Our last visit with friends involved full English breakfast and service matched the food. Friendly, unassuming location in the Gap and they do an excellent job. Recommend.

Since February 2014 Nishi is under the ownership of Paul Edwards, one of the founders of Nishi and Steve Prebble a UK entrepreneur who lives in Barbados. Nishi incorporates a funky outdoor dining area and bar where you can dine under the stars, air-conditioned dining watching our famous sushi chefs and a private dining area. We are family friendly offering everything from great sushi to homemade British pies and an early evening takeaway service.
Stylish courtyard setting. Nice change from waterfront dining. Good food. I particularly enjoyed the fish pie. Perfect comfort food after boat cruise. Girlfriend enjoyed her sushi bento box. Certainly worth a visit when in Barbados. The owner Paul quite clearly cares about the guests and his team worked hard to make it a good meal.

Set in the middle of a residential estate this is an amazing local restaurant. Not fine dining by any means but a rustic shack with a great atmosphere and fantastic local food. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and the service was excellent.
Highly recommended but be prepared for something different!

Looking for some fresh local food after a long day of work or touring our beautiful island?Come on over where the food is great. Table settings and tablecloths, a home away from home no plastic plates, forks or knives. You can have a variety of fish Mahi-Mahi, King Fish, Blue Marlin all fresh fish, which is marinated and served to you fried or grilled but we are famous for our Pan Seared fish with Vegetables. A lot of people ask what Pan Seared is. Pan Seared is a special butter we use and we add our local vegetables such as onions, carrots, broccoli, beans, sweet peppers ,pumpkins etc. Basically any local veg we could find. You can have this any other night than on Friday nights. On Thursday nights there is Pudding' N Souse and there is our famous Jerk pork and white rice.Fridays you can have Vegetable Rice Macaroni Pie, Fry Pork Chops Fry Chicken Grilled or Fry Fish Fried Breadfruit and Sweet Plantain. Chips or Wedges Toss Salad and Coleslaw. Saturdays you can also have Pudding N 'Souse from around 11:am you can call to place your order.Oh on Sundays now is a wider variety. You can get Green Peas and Rice, Macaroni Pie, Curry Goat, Sweet Potato Pie, Bake Pork Chops, Bake Lamb Chops, Bake Chicken, Steam Vegetables, Pan Seared,Grill fish or Fry Fish with a Garden Salad, Fried Breadfruit and Sweet Plantain. I guess that is our full menu so I hoping so see you soon.
I went there last night and had the sword fish, with plantains, breadfruit and mac pie. Just delicious. The fish dinner is $30 bbd and you got enough for two meals. Just had my leftovers and simply tasting. Also, try the rum punch.
I will probably be back every Friday for the next 8 weeks!

Well what a weird experience! Came here with great expectations after doing my homework on bars and restaurants in the area to visit....asked for a cocktail menu only to be told “didn’t have one” as all cocktails in his head?? Well as being one of those people that only really drink cocktails while on holiday, not really any good to me as I like to choose what I’m in the mood for, played it safe and asked for sex on the beach! ( surely u can’t really go wrong with that) oh boy did he go wrong with that? After sipping on it I realised there was no peach schnapps in it, he then come out to check we were ok with the drink....said there’s no peach schnapps in it, to which he replied , didn’t have any?? Told him he should have told us he didn’t have any and I would have chose something else from that invisible list he has! Sorry but if your gonna offer cocktails then at least have the correct drinks to include!!!
