Completely mobile surf/windsurf school specializing in PRIVATE lessons for individuals, couples, families and small groups of friends. Maximize your potential with the instructors full attention on you and your party - no distractions from strangers! We take you to where the conditions are best and all the lessons are taught by Bodie who is the Islands longest serving and most experienced active instructor, with over 20 yrs since he began teaching at the tender age of 13. Large numbers are sacrificed to provide you with a more personal, intimate experience which is all captured on film and emailed to you at no extra cost. Bodie guarantees you will surf/windsurf during your first session.
Bodie rocks. He is easy to get a hold of to book a lesson, he comes prepared and gives detailed on land instructions in an informative and entertaining manner before heading into the water. He even brings Surfing shirts and lends them out to protect against sunburn/rashes from the board. I’d definitely recommend taking lessons with him. The GoPros that he attaches to the board are a nice touch and allow you to post pics and videos of yourself to social media to impress all your friends of your new found Surfing skills :) Freights Bay, where the lessons take place is beautiful and it’s fun to hang out with the turtles while you’re waiting to catch a wave.

Enterprise Beach looks great in pictures, but it is also good for swimming.
Has more trees than most Beaches, so there is a nice amount of shade towards the back area. Bathrooms available, though not always stocked w/ toilet tissue. Chair/umbrella rental on beach. "Mr. Delicious" food truck with "Roti", fishcakes, beer etc on site. Picnic tables & outside shower available & a changing room too. Relatively calm waters overall, with some small & medium waves depending on the day. Small workout area with chin bar & parallel bars. Locals play volleyball ~4:30 Sundays if you're looking for a game. Lifeguards on duty from about 9am to 5:30

Crystal clear waters, vibrant, healthy reefs and shipwrecks teaming with life, and an abundance of seahorses (if you know how to look!) makes Barbados one of the best destinations in the world you can dive. Trying diving for the first time, or an experienced travel diver? Let us take care of your dive experience of a lifetime!
Went diving with David for five days this month for two dives a day. I am an experienced diver with too much photography equipment and my partner is a little nervous in the water. David catered for us both brilliantly. Making sure the dives were...MoreThank you for your great review it is appreciated. Hope to have you dive with us again.

Our six (6) hour Coastal Tour of Barbados begins in Oistins Town with our Explorers being picked up from their Hotels at approximately 8.45- 9.15 a.m. Once we have all aboard our exploration takes us around the beautiful coastline of Barbados, making four (4) leisurely stops and passing through our Capital – Bridgetown and along the West Coast of the Island and onto our first stop at North Point. Next we head to our refreshment stop at Cherry Tree Hill, this is where our explorers are served some traditional Bajan bite sized treats and drinks as we enjoy one of the most incredible views Barbados has to offer. We then head off to explore the rugged East Coast of the Island making our way to our Lunch Stop at Martins Bay. Lunch is served at a seaside Restaurant; this Restaurant is a real gem of a place as it mostly caters to locals so our explorers are guaranteed real “Bajan” food. We then set off to see more of the countryside and on to one of the most beautiful off the beaten track Beaches Barbados has to offer. Our Explorers are then returned to their hotels at approximately 3.00 – 3.15 p.m. Our leisurely Tour Stops are:- • North Point • Cherry Tree Hill • Martins Bay (for lunch) • Beachy Head Beach Our expedition is led by Barbadian born Mario Williams, whose family has been involved in the island Tour business since the early 1970’s with his father Lawrence Williams being the first man to start an organized day tour of the Island. Mario uses his extensive knowledge of the Island delivering its history and geography with passion while also sharing many life experiences and humor that his guests find to be most entertaining. As our Tour only takes a maximum of nine (9) this sets the stage for a very intimate day out, and our philosophy is to start as strangers and end as friends!
Coming to Barbados for the first time we wanted to learn more about the island its landscape, history and culture . This 6 hour Land Rover trip was an excellent way to do it. The guide Mario was informative and helpful with a touch of...MoreThanks for taking the time to write such a nice review, looking forward to seeing you again soon! :)

Delicious fish from Uncle George’s, Banks beers & entertainment. This is certainly less glamorous than we were told, however my boyfriend and I enjoyed the “local experience”. There were many locals and tourists alike, and the music was a mix of calypso and hip hop. A fun, low key night out!

Here at Paradise Surf we offer Lessons to people that are first timers or beginners and tours for the intermediate to advanced surfers who just want to go score some good surf minus the crowd. Barbados is a paradise island that combined with your instructor, current Caribbean Champion Bruce Mackie, his patient approach, passion and stoke on Surfing we guarantee that you'll be standing up ripping.
Memorable unique family activity. My family and I decided to try Surfing for the first time in Barbados. We contacted Bruce before our trip to Barbados via a cruise. The cruise ship was 30 minutes late arriving and Bruce still waiting for us outside the main gate of the Barbados port. Bruce and Paul were excellent instructors with great patience and a fun attitude. All four of us were able to get up on the surfboard. We really enjoyed the day and got some great pics and video.
Tip #1... make sure you sunscreen the back of your legs... not a place I usually think of when in the water, but paddling out and laying on the board bakes the back of your legs. Bruce provides long sleeve rash guard shirts for the lesson.
Tip#2... Don't pay to take a catamaran to see the turtles in Barbados...go Surfing with Bruce... the turtles love the surfers.
I highly recommend Bruce and his team. They created a memory for my kids that they cherish, and they were pretty popular when they showed the Surfing pics to their friends at school. :)
Will definitely call Bruce again the next time we are in Barbados. Thanks Bruce!!

My hotel unfortunately gave me the wrong information about the Sunday Service times so I arrived just as everyone was leaving. However, there were organists and soloists practicing so I was able to get the full benefit of the beautiful organ and acoustics. The Church iteslf is in a beautiful setting, although a longish steep walk from Oistins town, but well worth the effort
