We had the most wonderful time out on Sydney harbour with Robbie and Monnie celebrating my husband's 30th birthday. Juliet and Tim were amazing to deal with from my very first enquiry. Unfortunately due to terrible weather we were unable to take our sail when we had hoped in November but Juliet an Tim did everything they possibly could to accommodate us at another date. When we finally did get to go the wait was more than worthwhile. Not only were we upgraded to their beautiful larger boat but we felt like royalty the whole time. Robbie and Monnie were incredibly attentive but at the same time gave us enough space to make it still feel very romantic.
We were able to take whatever food and drinks that we liked on board which was fantastic. We also opted for their beautiful seafood platter and enjoyed oysters, smoked salmon, a beautiful salad and they most delicious barbecued salmon and prawns! It was brilliant! We could not have asked for anything more. I can't thank Champagne sailing enough for such a beautiful night. I don't think there are many other companies in Sydney who offer the same service. We are planning on coming back to do it again with friends!

I dove with Sydney Dive Safari and specifically Gregory last week. It was a twin guided shore dive in Kurnell in search of Weedy Sea Dragons (I had limited time in Sydney and wanted a 'guaranteed' location for weedies and this was suggested).
Overall, Sydney Dive Safari has great gear and seems like a great operations. Communication could be a bit better/easier (maybe adding Whatsapp option so overseas folks can contact them more cost effectively).
Similarly a bit more 'organised' would have been great. I tend to be very punctual in such trips hence I showed up just before the quoted time of 9am having had to go through the city to be on time this early... only to be told we had to wait till 10am for another person... who never came in the end.
That said, the dives were great. Gregory was very helpful, wonderful to hang out with but most importantly had spare equipment that proved incredibly useful as I didnt expect the 21c water and didnt pack my gloves! He was also able to spot lots of stuff I didnt even see or know where to look for!
In the end... we didnt see weedies... which was a let down but wild animals are unpredictable. Visibility wasnt perfect and they are tiny... and current was strong so I guess they were hiding in the kelp.
On the bright side we did see a wobbygong, 2 huge cuttlefish, stonefish, pipefish, a ray and a few more 'local' typical fish and the two dives were great.

Everyone needs a secret garden in their life and you’re invited to visit Wendy's, a public garden and much loved oasis in the heart of Sydney. Located a short walk over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, or stroll from Milsons Point and North Sydney train stations, the Secret Garden is a haven where you can explore meandering pathways discovering sculptures; enjoy a picnic basket or read a book at one of the tables beneath the garden’s canopy; or simply enjoy the nature and serenity of your beautiful surrounds. You may even stumble across a fairy. Created over 20 years by artist Wendy Whiteley, wife and muse of Australian artist Brett Whiteley, the Secret Garden is nestled behind Luna Park in one of Sydney's most spectacular suburbs, Lavender Bay. While its free and open seven days a week, there are steep inclines and a range of steps. Visitors with limited mobility may only be able to access the uppermost sections of the garden but we're sure you'll enjoy your visit.
Wendy’s Secret Gardens is amazing! She built her Gardens on terraces and in the background we see the city.
The first view I saw was trees and flowers with a view on the Sydney Harbor Bridge.
We explored everything. Everything was planted with care. There were numerous flowers to discover. As well as views and trees and plants.
We spent more than an hour to explore it and we were able to see the outside of Wendy’s home. She did a fantastic job.
Interestingly enough, we saw many young people on the grass.
However, I will always remember this terraced Gardens. Wow!
This is a must see!

Take the plunge with Shark Dive Xtreme for the opportunity of a lifetime! Come face to face with huge critically endangered Grey Nurse Sharks, sea turtles, stingrays and a vast array of other marine life. Experienced instructors will prepare you by teaching the basics of SCUBA diving in the classroom and training pool so you feel confident before meeting the sharks. The 2.5 hour experience includes a 30 minute dive in Shark Harbour, the 4 million litre ocean tank. Friends and family are able to watch all the action from the underwater viewing tunnel. Take the challenge a step further with Shark Feed Xtreme, a unique opportunity to be in the tank to watch the sharks and fish being fed. Shark Dive Xtreme is great for first time and experienced divers. All equipment is supplied, just bring swimmers and a towel. Optional in-water photos are available to view and purchase following the dive. Bookings are essential. Medical restrictions apply.
Was always a dream to swim with these magnificent and amazing creatures and this was the perfect first time! The booking process was super easy and despite a slight issue with the booking, due to over booked slots, the people at Manly Sanctuary were just so nice and made sure I got a great deal for the next dive! I didn’t mind the wait as I was able to fit in a bit of snorkeling :)
The dive itself is totally worth it and the sharks are absolutely HUGE!! It’s everything you want to experience and more... the StingRay, the huge Turtle and the other smaller sharks all add to the fun. However, the Grey Nurse Sharks are the stars and makes you truly realize how big and powerful these creatures are and makes you respect them and understand them more. Definitely will go back and do it again... highly recommended activity for diving enthusiasts and non divers (the team is amazing with first time divers!!!) and shark lovers.

With delightful art deco interiors and comfortable Seating, this is a great cinema complex with a number of separate cinemas allowing a large variety of films to be shown simultaneously. We are regulars. Prices are very cheap if one buys a book of ten tickets and drinks can also be purchased to take into the cinema.
The only disadvantage is the INNUMERABLE advertisements through which one is forced to sit before the actual film starts. It's right over the top and with the prices charged the huge additional revenue should not be necessary - or it should be netted off the price of the ticket to compensate patrons for their pain in suffering the mindless advertising.

A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, Beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The Beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All Beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional Seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.
One of the things Id recommend to do whilst in Bondi or Coogee. When I was there they had different kinds of art displayed, which was quite interesting. The walk is nice, and you can cut off at different sections so if you want to have a shorter walk, you can.

the boss surprised me by celebrating 20 years of marriage with a flight up to Jonas at palm beach for lunch. Money well spent as we felt like royalty. excellent flight, pilot and transfers and a magnificent lunch. Only disappointment was having to share the flight with a photographer/ promotional filming crew who's large cameras obstructed the view from the windows . otherwise a must do when in sydney
