I chose the cauliflower as my main course even though it's a starter but it was a good sized portion and comprised some of the best flavours I've ever eaten, I wish I knew what went into it so I could do it at home! The sardines to start were also great, lovely tasting as was everything else that we ordered (good steaks, great mash and sauces). The min brownies which came with our coffees were gooey and delicious too, the only downside was that we never made it to experience breakfast! It's a great place!

Flavour of India is a proud restaurant institution in Sydney, often referred to as the best Indian restaurant in Sydney - our menu captures flavours and cooking styles from every corner of the beautiful continent that is India.
Tripadvisor community, you've failed me for the first time.
# 2 (out of 2000) in all of Sydney in the moderately priced category? You can do better.
Context: 7 Keralite Indians looking forward to a delicious last meal in Sydney but was deeply disappointed.
Service: Hard to enjoy when the staff seem angry and snapping at each other.
Food: Why did the chicken Tikka masala have curry leaf in it but the dishes that are supposed to have it not have any?
We ordered the chicken Tikka masala, butter chicken, Kerala beef, green curry fish, and special Dahl.
I have to be honest: none of the dishes met my expectation for the #2 restaurant in Sydney (out of 2000 ). I wouldn't have placed it even in the top 500.

Don’t get me wrong, the food was pretty tasty, and I would have rated this higher if the curry serves were larger. But unfortunately the portion size of the curry was dissapointingly tiny. Upon being seated, we were served pappadums with a dip. We ordered two curries, naan and rice. We liked the meal but doubt we would be rushing back. Good scenery, friendly service. Always busy.

The culinary corner stone in the heart of Darlinghurst, Malabar enjoys a long-held reputation for excellence in food, wine and hospitality. Executive Chef Mohammed celebrates carefully sourced local ingredients from nearby farmer's market, where he collaborates with local growers. Chef Mohammed's innovative and skilfully executed dishes deliver intelligent compositions and delightful flavours, carefully married to our Australian wine list.
Chose this location after checking other reports on Trip Advisor. Highly rated with lovely food and excellent service. Chose the banquet for 2 for choice and had take away left for next day, still delicious. Went on rainy Sunday night, still very busy, best to book beforehand. Highly recommend.

Situated on the shores of Sydney Harbour on Rose Bay, Catalina is a beautiful, airy light-filled restaurant and bar with floor to ceiling glass sliding doors opening out onto a long curved balcony over the water. In keeping with its harbourside location, the menu features beautifully fresh seafood - Sydney Rock oysters shucked to order; house smoked Tasmanian salmon; whole snapper and barramundi, filleted on the premises - but also a wide range of the best meat and poultry Australia has to offer. A fabulous Australian and global wine list (over 600 wines) and welcoming, attentive service, make this restaurant a must-do Sydney dining experience. Come in all day for the full menu - Catalina doesn't close between lunch and dinner - or graze on bar food overlooking the most beautiful harbour in the world.
I met a friend for lunch at Catalina and we had a lovely table on the deck overlooking Rose Bay.
We shared the antipasto platter, which had fish dumplings, mussels, prawns, scallops, crab meat, squid. The fish dumplings were divine- by the far the best although the rest was good.
We followed the platter with two more entrees as we were not that hungry. We had the seared scallops with cauliflower and cheese sauce and the Crudo Kingfish, which were both nice.
A very nice light meal washed down with a good French Chardonnay.
A very pleasant way to spend the afternoon.
Book if you would like to eat here as the restaurant was packed.

Pink Salt is a refreshing experience. We offer shared, nourishing, wholesome and diverse food with a Mediterranean accent. Our cuisine comprises of contemporary Australian comfort style food on an elevated level. Our guests are welcome to enjoy as little or as much as they like as we offer lunch, snacks in the afternoon and dinner. We also make all our own breads, pasta, charcuterie and icecream in house.
Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. I really enjoy restaurants where the food such as the vine leaves, are from the owners own garden. I cannot fault the quality of the food which was beautiful and plates such as the ribs and lamb shoulder...MoreThank you for your review

Ribs, Ribs, Ribs Galore! Delicious, mouth watering ribs. We all enjoyed our food, service was good and friendly. The only thing is that it was a bit noisy so a little hard to hear our conversation but not much talking when licking our fingers from the delicious ribs.

Looking down over the iconic Bondi Beach, the Tratt is a true Sydney local. For 30 years this restaurant has served modern Italian food made from the best Australian ingredients and a full bar offering Australian and Italian wines, spirits and liqueurs. Under new ownership since May 2017, Joe Pavlovich and Alasdair France bring a lifetime of experience and a fresh approach to simplicity and quality.
Passing by and stopped for a late morning coffee etc when most of the clientele were busily tucking into assorted breakfast dishes.
All looked very good and the plates went back empty, which is a good sign. The Eggs Benedict looked rather yummy.
Must come earlier and try out breakfast.
Staff friendly, service good, the restaurant in general is a tad jaded and in need of a make over.

Lunch on the Terrace with sensational view over Bondi Beach a great way to experience all that is Bondi with very good casual food..the Iceburger as good as we have had anywhere and the Nasturtium Vinegar spread onto fries added a totally different dimension...the view topped the food as an experience though... well worth the visit.
